All is not well with Tony, falling out with folk that he used to be loyal too, his inner circle is getting tighter and smaller. Making some quite simply barking decisions in both transfer market and tactics, there is those in the inside that want a change and those who are scared that if he went they would too. Mowbray is getting jumpy tho, despite his strong position with waggot, I think it’s unlikely he is still here in a year

Not going to lie to you, I was never overly keen on his appointment. I live in Scotland and his reputation up here is of a joke figure after his disaster at Celtic. Not to mention his poor spell at Coventry subsequently. I just don’t see him as an attractive appointment. He in turn took us down- yes it was a big ask but he could’ve pulled it off being a bit braver. He got us up but I would argue any average manager would’ve got our squad up that season- I don’t buy the look at Sunderland , Leeds argument. It’s a poor league and with even a bit of know how and money you can get out it. Last season he blew the transfer windows, having got us in a position to challenge top 6 he threw it away. He has never sorted our defence which has been lacking since early bowyer days. His tactics are defensive and unadventurous. His substitutions never seem to work. For all the nonsense that he likes to play good football I see nothing but hoofball the last few seasons. He shows blind loyalty to players whose talent don’t deserve nor warrant it. He can’t attract players a bigger name would. For some reason he hasn’t started European scouting until recently. Which to me says he is a 90s dinosaur of a manager. If you look at the top teams in the champ and lower end prem, most have a foreign manager with a good background at a top club and bring new methods and ideas or young up and coming managers who are hungry and passionate. Tone just stands by showing no passion and even his voice his monotone, it’s doesnt excite or grab me. So yea that pretty much sums up why I don’t rate him. oh and we have lost our first two games and 2019 has been a disaster in terms of results generally

Think it’s a big game next week, simply cannot lose or mowbray might start getting some serious heat. Personally I think his time is up already but for the lovers it might be time

Well it finished with one loan in today, which is what I said at 8 o clock this morning. That defence scares me, one injury away from a complete disaster, relying on Williams, really? I think mowbray has overstayed his welcome already, window and league was there for the taking this summer and he has stumbled and humbled his way around with loans to cover up broken legs. Leaves us in a horrible position next summer when we lose all the loans and older legs. I don’t think the league is great shakes this year, nobody has blown me away with signings but with that defence we are going nowhere near playoffs. I wouldn’t take rodwell but I would still take lynch for an experienced centre back. Has Marshall been snapped up, for a right back/ right wing cover he wouldn’t be the worst

Don’t think reed was ever coming back here no matter how hard mowbray tried, was always wanting to stay down south. Also don’t see where he was playing, not that I don’t rate him but we are packed with centre mids and wasted on the wing. If that’s where he was going why not sign a winger ?‍♂️

Cunningham was the loan I was told this morning was 50/50 so to get that over the line would be great. Anything else has been names thrown in late this morning, I know there was talks with Sinclair before the rangers game as I reported but was told it was dead. I imagine a new deal has been put to us if it is the case we are now looking to pursue. Need to get them done ASAP tho as time is ticking now
