Two good positions for Conway and bell and both slashed it wildly left when a cut across was needed. Silly boy Ben there, frustration at getting chopped every time he ran.
-
Frustrating that this game is there for the taking, wouldn’t we be better going for the three in this than the none we are going to get v boro. Rothwell needs to play if dack isn’t. Bell is so frustrating, he done one very good run and cross at the beginning and since he has had lead boots with massive touches

Surely despite saying to the contrary, mowbray can’t be happy with how this signing is turning out. This one for the future is a lot of cosh, if he was good enough he would be playing. He was playing for forest so it doesn’t make sense. For all the positives this season this is the huge elephant in the room and the one that in future years supporters will remember. Our supposed marquee signing getting brief cameos and contributing nothing. Never mind chris brown, I think this lad is Kevin Davies mark 2. Does nothing for us and we sell him then hits it off somewhere else, I can just see it

How many goals will Brereton score this season?

Standard childish response from yourself, might as well have made a yo mamma so fat joke, lame

You need to look at the bigger picture , you can’t just have one season in a nothing league and magically go back to where you were. League 2 would mean we were at least 3 seasons before hitting the heights of the prem again. You also have to look at the money at the different scenarios, that’s football. Sorry if I’m looking at the bigger picture but I think you need to, we don’t play on a cloud
-
Not the argument that was put to me. I never said that. Argument was given the choice , prem or lg 2. Manager is irrelevant as like I said they can come and go
-
Anybody that says differently hasn’t really thought this through obviously. If we hit league 2 we are at the bottom, there is no guarantee that we get back up, Venkys probably give up by then and we get taken over by some small fry investor with little money. Also mowbray ain’t that good a manager, he didn’t win league 1 with the biggest budget. I’m wholly unconvinced by him getting us to the prem let alone he would even stick around in lg 2, then who do we attract. yes I hate Kean but it’s the prem league, there is money, good chance Kean will bomb and get the sack anyway, even if relegated we get parachute money, people forget we were expected to bounce back up and had we invested better with a better manager we would’ve. It also keeps our club relevant and in the spotlight in the prem. there is no coverage in lg 2. In summary the future is a lot rosier in the prem than lg 2 regardless of who is in charge. Managers will come and go, our club and fans won’t- well to an extent haha. Anybody saying different Is mad

Premier league with Kean

Marcus Antonsson now being valued at 4 million is crazy, a very limited footballer. Seen a laughable report that says that we bet we are kicking ourselves for not signing him up for a million. Eh not really no

Until we get rid of the soft underbelly when under the cosh we are going nowhere, fans get nervy as do the players as they can’t be trusted to stand up to it. Need a far harder core than we have at the moment. Not hard enough soldiers and not enough game changing artist subs

I more resent Huddersfield for last few weeks of the relegation season, happy to see them struggling
-
Ewoods atmosphere is severely lacking and mowbray isn’t that great a manager, he won’t get us to the promised lands
-
It’s definitely a result that asks more questions than answers. Feel we are at the end of a long dark tunnel where we have been before and chose the wrong door, will we choose the same wrong door and go down the same path or have lessons been learned to take the right door for progression. I don’t know. We are either going to be the same kind of team as say a Preston, languishing mid- bottom or we take a gamble to be a top 6. My head says mowbray isn’t a gambler

Did say there was no point adding firepower when our biggest deficiency was at the back, soft underbelly gets you nowhere

Not bothered that we haven’t paid over the odds for domestic based players, what I’m amazed at is that we had no overseas players looked at or lined up. Mowbray makes a statement saying it’s a market that we must now look at like it’s a new thing, playing us for fools I fear. Scouting network needs improving massively if it’s just been domestic based. -

Well that’s that, I always like getting involved in deadline day for the excitement but it’s all theatre, sounds like we have been sensible. Keeping dack and signing chapman is good by me -

I’d have taken chapman back at the start of the window, anything else was a brucey bonus. Defence is still weak for me but right players have to be available -

Think a few need to calm down. I don’t think anyone is coming and to be honest I don’t think bursting our summer budget in the hope we sneak into the playoffs and then get through that lottery is worth it. I think the striker links have brushed over the glaringly obvious that our defence needs strengthened more than the forward line. Wouldn’t be surprised if the left field is a defender, back in for Bauer perhaps. i never expected us to rush the divisions, it’s about baby steps, my issue was we we playing terribly but last few weeks has been a lot better. Happy with what we have up top to see out the season comfortably, maybe blood some youngsters if the playoffs become too big a task in prep for next season. I don’t hold the belief that the division will be stronger next year, bottom 3 in prem the now look odds on and none of them scare me. I’d argue that the bottom 3 of champ are stronger than those coming up too. It’s good being a Blackburn supporter again, please take a deep breath and enjoy it. Don’t run before we can walk -

Can’t see anything happening, doesn’t feel like anything is close with valuations, wages and other clubs interested in all our supposed targets the stumbling blocks. Shame, still it was nice for a while, actually felt like a semi big club again dining at the top table of transfer targets -

followed Gallaghers career after watching a youth cup game and he scored an absolute screamer at Ewood, thought he was head and shoulders above the other lads his age. Thought he done well here last time bar a moment of lost concentration v Preston. Would be more than happy to have him back, and if so on a perm. Don’t know why the negativity around him personally. -

I see sky sports have now linked us to ba using the exact same wording as they did when they linked him to Bristol City , odd
