  1. Aye if lambert doesn’t want Edwards I’d welcome him here
  2. I don’t think we are getting anyone, no murmurs and the noises mowbray is making seem to confirm that too. Don’t see the point of weakening our squad in January instead of improving it, mowbray, you and me are on shaky ground. Don’t see how your 3-4 window prediction is going to come to fruition if we don’t add to the team every window
  3. Worst performance one that sticks in the mind is Tom Lawrence in our last game I think v Burnley, missed a couple of sitters and I remember being truly sick of football that day
  4. Nyambe is ok, I would still like an upgrade though. Defensively naive at times, doesn’t like a high ball, is good at running offensively but gets in great positions and can’t cross or shoot so it’s wasted
  5. Don’t think it’s a daft question and as I said I’m not suggesting we don’t try and get up, I’m asking if it’s beneficial for the club long term. I ask because I think we are a mile away from being able to compete in the prem. yes we would get the money but who is to say mowbray wouldn’t splurge it on more breretons. I’m suggesting it may be beneficial to let us grow a team that might have a chance of sustaining a prem lg future rather than fortunately going up when we aren’t ready. Of course it’s the end goal that we all want I was merely asking if a season of being whipping boys, more dwindling crowds, fans unrest again might set us back rather than forward. A recent example was it derby who sneaked up one year with billy Davies, gave out big contracts to sustain the dream, didn’t work and it actually set them back from where they were. I can see it happening to Fulham this year. Someone mentioned Huddersfield but they aren’t in a good situation just now, I wouldn’t tip them to bounce back next year
  6. Genuine question- how would folk feel about going up at the end of this season- not that it’s remotely likely but if we were to sneak into the playoffs and defy odds to creep up, I would be worried that we would be cannon fodder which would set us back instead of up. I’d prefer a steady progress so that we are prepared if we ever do make it to the promised lands. Not saying we shouldn’t be looking to finish as high as possible I would just be worried of the state we would be in after a season of being battered
  7. Mulgrew in the left back position in the tougher games, bell for when we are attacking/chasing
  8. Tim flowers is doing some job- potential future manager ?
  9. Marshall resigned with millwall so that one can be put to bed
  10. What’s torture is that sky sports centre- I don’t have bt- have bloody I have been stopped from posting this by moderators. coyle commenting on the match. Blood boil much
  11. Graham was worth his contract, we would all be raging had he been allowed to leave for Bolton and they were in our position and we in theirs. That being said I think the majority of fans realised that he should have been a cover player to an established and progressive striker we signed in the summer, brereton wasn’t the right option. I do worry that in a years time we are still relying on a declining graham and he just won’t be up to it. He should always be given respect and appreciation from rovers fans for staying with us and all he has gave to the club, he also speaks very highly of us and I believe that to be a true opinion of his.
  12. Think he was meaning rodwell, still smile off however
  13. Think he was pretty accurate to be honest, maybe disagree with a couple of points. i thought nuttall played well today my issue would be can he score a normal strikers goal like how is he in a 1 v 1, can he score outside the box or does all his goal come from scrappy play like set pieces, cut backs. That’s all iv seen him score. Maybe I’m wrong though and there is that string to his bow, I just haven’t seen it
  14. We played awful, defended well for a change though. Armstrong changed it, Travis has to be a starter in the middle, I hope to never see Smallwood in there again . mowbray needs to be braver and stamp some sort of plan down, in every game iv seen of us this tear which is a good 16 or so, iv thought we looked poor. Results don’t cover up poor performances for long and another losing run is around the corner unless we improve. Hapoy tonight though so will take the robbery of the 3 points
  15. Great goal by Armstrong, been critical of him but turned the game here
  16. Karanka in please, mowbray not learning. Playing strikers out wide. When raya gets the ball he has kicked it up to nobody all game, yet we persist. Amateur hour
  17. Eh are you watching the game? Don’t think there is much to be excited about
  18. Don’t think nuttall has been that bad in all honesty. Bell simply isn’t good enough on the ball. New left back please
  19. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say we are up there with the very worst actual footballing sides. Very much Wimbledon style. I laugh when mowbray gets credit as a football playing manager
  20. Turgid, honestly sick of watching this in every live match. Long ball nonsense. New philosophy needed if that’s a change in manager so be it
  21. Is the pitch in poor condition, we seem to be struggling to control the ball and out passes even simple short ones are going miscued
  22. Awful hoof ball so far. Travis looking to get it down and play which is good. Should’ve just got a yellow tho
  23. Our usual slow build up play with no actual end ball. My main criticism of mowbray. Team doesn’t play good football no matter how many times sky say it
