  1. Was looking forward to this game being on sky until I saw the lineup.....
  2. I’d take karanka here no worries
  3. I and the whole of Scotland disagree with you there, a clumsy oaf is exactly what he is. I can’t really forgive when we were in danger of going down, he was not available, probably through disciplinary for clumsy challenges, anyway we had a relegation 6 pointer and instead of being at the game he was getting pissed with his mates at the horse racing. He can jog on as far as I’m concerned
  4. I find it strange folk want Hanley back as I remember and still rate him as totally rotten. Strange that he forced a move away as much as Marshall but doesn’t get the same disdain. I rated Marshall a lot more than this lump. He would be near the bottom with Lowe of players I’d like to see return
  5. Ehh reed? It’s trial and error, name of the game
  6. Plan b is a musician, my final answer is musician
  7. Honestly can’t blame players for wanting away from the circus that was our club between venkys and coyle, think I’d want away too
  8. Not against the loan system, after all these young lads get the best of the best at these academies. Would Messi be Messi if he had been put through at some average Argentinian club. Some say the hoovering system stints development and loses a few but there is an argument the other way too. I wouldn’t be against an American type draft system to benefit the smaller clubs getting talent however, forcing the bigger clubs to pay money to bring them in. Anyway back on topic, I’m hearing Ben Woodburn is on our radar
  9. What’s that about? Seems a bit spiteful towards a young lad
  10. Palmer is this seasons whittingham, was excited about it in the summer, hasn’t worked out for one way or another, il not lose any sleep over it. Next .....
  11. Haha a lot of the recent pages has been a lot of hot air and tosh. Also the brereton topic, jeez give it a rest. Transfer only talk please! Might not be the popular opinion but I do agree to an extent with mercer, the football under mowbray has been dire since he came, really needs to stamp a style down that lets us keep the ball and dominate.
  12. Thought Ollson was a decent lb for us personally
  13. Kind of sick of the brereton debate now, he is here and our player let’s start afresh and see how he goes. Us moaning about his fee isn’t going to change anything
  14. Jesus are folk genuinely suggesting Efe ambrose
  15. Jonny Williams would be a good dack replacement if he were to go
  16. I don’t believe we will get reed even if he was to leave Southampton, I reckon they would want 7-8 mill in todays market and we wouldn’t have that to spend again after Ben
  17. Papa soares on loan for left back, Matt Connolly loan for centre back, Jonny Williams transfer, Liam Lindsay transfer, Sam Gallagher loan and il be happy ?
  18. I’d love to send him back but we all know it’s not going to happen so let’s kill that chat once and for all
  19. Please stop playing that game on here, create a new thread if you want to play make believe. He should be selling the likes of Williams and Smallwood but no way will he, not while they are still getting game time. Downing, gladwin, nuttall are the only ones I could imagine being moved on
  20. Happy tonight but can’t help but wonder where we would be if Tony had trusted in youth a bit earlier, if we had Travis in the middle all season instead of Smallwood- who by the way I was one of the first to note his limitations when others were praising him to the rafters, wasn’t and never has been good enough for this football club. If we had signed a centre half, lb and a genuine 15-20 goal championship striker. Graham is graham and you can’t fault his effort or commitment, think he will be more appreciated when he is gone. That being said, he should be a final 30 min player by now with younger, faster, more prolific striker starting. Brereton it is not. Graham should’ve scored in first 5 mins today, was a very poor effort. Il be interested to see how lambert is on his return to Ewood in a few weeks time, in some ways you can’t blame him for walking after broken promises and foresight into how things were heading pre coyle but in others, he clearly didn’t fancy his skills on a limited budget and felt like he was better than us, we have now overtaken his stock, would love to beat them for a wee bit of smugness
  21. Today’s the day I’m pretty sure we won’t go down after getting a bit wobbly in December but I’m confident we are a better team than at least the bottom 4
  22. Great win, didn’t expect that. Travis must now start over Smallwood without a doubt
  23. Take off the one player that can break and hold it up top and in the corner. Jesus man
  24. The red button needs refurbed tho, no replays, dull commentary. If your going to do it, then do it right not half arsed. Looks and feels like a training session the way they have it currently
