Derby County vs Rovers, Tues 18th Sept

This is awful viewing -
Dack motm for me as quite simply without him we don’t score and lose the match. He maybe wasn’t as effective as some other games but he had 2,3 players on him at times which should allow others to bear fruit. Armstrong just isn’t cutting it at champ level, he is a concern for me going forward. Smallwood isn’t a starter, please put reed in there from now on, Smallwood fine to come on and see out a game which sadly we didn’t do Saturday.
-
Unfortunately there is no room for sentiment in football, he does try his best but his standards are below par. Can’t remember any games he was outstanding, supporters got far too carried away with him simply because he wasn’t Jason Lowe. Rothwell already looks 10 times the player
-
Yup pretty much, lad can’t pass, can’t keep up with pace of play, rarely gets a good shot away, he can throw himself about in tackles but much more needed to be a good standard footballer. He shouldn’t be playing for our club currently if we harbour ambitions on top half champ
-
Smallwood has looked rotten bar a purple patch at the start of last season. Nowhere near this level

Extension rejected- business concluded
-
My understanding is that pulis sanctioned it as he got saville with Millwall getting their replacement from Sheffield Utd, however paperwork was put in but may have missed the deadline. Club are waiting to find out if extension has been granted
-
Sharpe to reveal all in next 10 mins good or bad
-
Word iv heard is that as soon as savile was concluded by boro they have made an effort to put in the paperwork that means we get more time to try and conclude deal, if that’s been accepted or not I do not know and might mean we need to wait till January if not
-
There is late late movement.......
-
Chapman is off, business concluded
-
Left field, Mitchel candlin signs
-
Don’t see why he wouldn’t get some minutes if he was fit, big lad to throw up for corners if we are chasing a goal. One of mowbrays failings is not going gung ho enough when we need a last min goal
-
Not going to make him a scapegoat, if he stays and plays he gets my support
-
Thing is with gladwin, I know he hasn’t exactly shone but none of us really know what he can offer as we just haven’t seen him. Might be a player there somewhere
-
Shame we never got to see the whittingham that was so good at Cardiff. Was honestly like a 10% of that player
-
Selling dack would undo all the good work and feel good factor the club have done well to get back, it’s not the right time and not the right club to sell to. Can’t see this happening even if they offered 20 mill
-
Chapman is an embassidor for Frosties , hence the tiger

I like Mulgrew, Christ I grew up in the same village as him and often see him kicking about when he is back home but it’s not to say I can’t see weaknesses. He loses concentration, can get done for pace and at times can get turned too easily. All the reason for making him the def midfielder he played his career elsewhere at. Again not saying I’m unhappy with his name on the team sheet but likely to be his last season here and if an opportunity came by like elphick I would take it personally
-
Elphick would be a very good signing and a better option than Mulgrew imo who is always prone to the odd mistake. Not that I don’t rate Mulgrew but he is a converted cb, would like one of our backs to be and out and out defender personally. Not a disaster if we don’t tho. hart has never been good enough, with all the talk that the team do loads of research on signings I’m not sure what they ever seen in hart worth gambling on

Was buzzing when we signed whittingham, one of my top 3 transfers that has left me disappointed. Just hasn’t worked for him here
-
I’d be happy after Brereton but welcome anything else as a bonus
-
Same thing
-
Nothing is wrong with Brereton , stop looking for faults, enjoy the moment, positive start to campaign and despite a slow start with transfers it’s shaping up very nicely. Iv been a big doubter if mowbray in the past but he is starting to get me excited as to where this project could finish, love the blueprint with young hungry team assembled
