Starting pair are travis and sondre, yes we lose baker which wasnt ideal but we do still have options there to stand in until travis returns. Get a sub midfielder in. I’m going by the moneyball/brentford model for jade jones, all the stats to suggest he would be more useful to us than Asante. Fastest player in league 1 I think? Tall, strong, fast, played good amount of games, young at 22 for resale potential. Sheff Utd /norwich wanting him, don’t see them interested in Asante

If he is good enough then yes, get another loan in if you really want but if said player is as good as he is meant to be then I have no problem in jumping in and snagging him before the competition catch on and we are out muscled at the auction

I’d rather go down the route of plundering the league below for potential than taking the risk of an injured once good player in bamford or an average looking Asante. would love a double swoop on pboro for poku and jade jones, would solve our pace issue and they have big resale potential if they perform. Honestly don’t think we would be losing anything at anything under 8 for both of them. Gotta speculate to accumulate , if they fired us to the prem it’s a drop in the ocean, if they performed your looking at at least doubling your money. Boy at Wigan would be my second choice. its a Callum brittain type signing, players that are clearly too good for the league below

League is starting to take shape, top 4 battling it out for autos and at least 2 of the playoff spots tied up.
