  1. Raya Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Bell Bennett Evans Arma Dack Palmer Graham Would be the team I’d start with, if DG isn’t fit, Arma upfront, Bennett out wide, Travis/Rothwell in midfield.
  2. I’d listen to him over some of the idiots on here.
  3. Don’t speak too soon, if any of them get injured now it hasn’t worked well.
  4. Surely it’s either Chapman, Gallagher or Breton?
  5. If it did go through I’d have liked to see him come on here criticising the deal...
  6. What a big cock up this has been. Left it until the last minute when we’ve had months, amateur.
  7. Cameron Jermone, Maddison and this Trapp guy would be a decent day. Back up CH on loan.
  8. He must be planning on using Armstrong as a striker if he’s bidding for Freeman surely? Palmer hasn’t come to sit on the bench. Suppose Armstong could be cover for Graham and the wings, he’d get a lot of games if so.
  9. Maddison, McGinn, Nmecha and a centre half now please Tony! What a great window that would be.
  10. Great news. Let’s hope he’s as good as he was last season.
  11. I think he’ll be on the bench, but I’d rather have a half fit Palmer than a fully fit Samuel.
  12. Raya Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Bell Evans Smallwood Bennett Dack Palmer Graham When Arma is back, put Bennett to CM instead of Evans and Armstrong RW. Top half team in my opinion, although we could do with a few more options.
  13. Imagine if we were selling a player who is 21, has a cracking England youth record, scored 20 goals in a season in League 1 as an 18 year old and scored 9 in 21 for us from the wing last season for £2m+1m, there’d be uproar and rightly so. Cracking signing.
  14. What’s with the picture to launch the kit? Looks like they have jogging pants on not shorts, they have pockets ffs. Did the shorts and socks not turn up in time for the launch? Embarrassing.
  15. Armstrong 16/17 for Barnsley 34 games, 6 goals. Gallagher 17/18 for Birmingham 33 games 6 goals. Huge difference. He scored 11 in 46 for us, hardly prolific. Arma career: 2014– Newcastle United 17 (0) 2015–2016 → Coventry City (loan) 40 (20) 2016–2017 → Barnsley (loan) 34 (6) 2017 → Bolton Wanderers (loan) 20 (1) 2018 → Blackburn Rovers (loan) 21 (9 Gally career: 2013– Southampton 18 (1) 2015–2016 → Milton Keynes Dons (loan) 13 (0) 2016–2017 → Blackburn Rovers (loan) 43 (11) 2017–2018 → Birmingham City (loan) 33 (6) Both have played for England at youth level and Armstrong has by far the better stats: Arma: 2012–2013 England U16 6 (2) 2013–2014 England U17 12 (10) 2014–2015 England U18 9 (8) 2015–2016 England U19 9 (3) 2016–2017 England U20 13 (7) 2018– England U21 5 (1) Gally: 2013 Scotland U19 3 (1) 2014 England U19 3 (1) 2015 England U20 4 (1) Arma is a year younger and has had the better career so far.
  16. Armstrong over Gallagher imo, would happily take both mind.
  17. Strange and poor interview from Mowbray in my opinion, don’t understand what he has to gain from it. It seems like he has trouble to not try to explain himself when he’s getting a bit of stick, he’s too honest. The only thing he could gain from saying something like this is to reduce the price of Armstrong/Chapman but then I’m not sure how they’d take being the D choice (unless he’s telling the two of them something different in private). I’d rather he just keep his mouth shut if I’m honest, the top managers don’t tell the press what their A, B, C, and D choices are.
  18. You forgotten about Bennett? He’s the first name on the teamsheet.
  19. The agent Bennett thing doesn’t make sense unless Armstrong or Chapman are coming in, I’m expecting at least one of them to be done by the time we play Ipswich.
