The problem was that they sacked a good manager and replaced him with a sh1t manager. If we sacked Mowbray, we'd be sacking a poor manager and replacing him with a possibly poor, yet possibly good manager. The only experienced managers we'd get at present would be crap managers, we may as well roll the dice and hope to get someone decent.
-
Who gives a sh1t? What are you trying to prove? We are were we are and saying 'I thought Venky's were bad first' isn't going to improve our plight is it? However this is coming from the man who says 'everyone should run on the pitch during the game, apart from me of course!' So I was hardly expecting anything constructive.

Mowbray's answer to needing a goal is to chuck 5 strikers on and hope our already dreadful midfield can get the ball to them. It is like a 7 year old/Chaddy is managing the team. The midfield is absolutely vital to the attack, Mowbray doesn't seem to grasp this. Against Bristol City, we had Lowe and Akpan in, how many successful teams start with 2 defensive midfielders who can't pass the ball?

Row B is the secong worst row in the ground behind row A! You can't see anything from there. Did we look organised vs. Bristol City? Did we look organised vs. Barnsley? I went to Forest and we ended up playing with 2 right backs for some reason, clearly not organised. What have you seen in his short time here that makes you want him next season? 3 wins in 15 is dreadful. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this season Mowbray has won 3 games in 25, with 10 of those being in League 1. Get him sacked and bring in someone who's career is on the way up.
-
He can't organise a team at all, have you actually been to any of our games under him?
-
He's got an incredibly average record previous to us.
-
In what was is he not a poor manager?
-
Great guy, poor manager.
-
U23s won 3-2 against Fulham tonight, Tomlinson scored, get him in Mowbray!
-
Even if they still had Zola, we'd need 3 points to catch them up, can anyone see us getting that? It would take a miracle now to stop us going down.
-
Brilliant
-
If Bristol City lose 2 out of their last 4, they can only possibly get 6 more points (as you get 3 points for a win). Therefore, as 47+6=53, they can only get 53 points, not 56. Not so clever are you Gav, sorry Stuart?
-
What's brilliant?
-
Probably won't make a difference but have you accounted for Bristol getting 0 points against us?
-
I was just going off what the other guy was saying, really sorry Stuart! Besides, it is almost certain that if we win all of our games we will stay up, 55 points keeps us up.
-
Forget the other teams, we win all our games, we stay up. It is that simple.
-
Guthrie, Bennett and Tomlinson in the middle with a winger either side.
-
That's just rubbish. There are plenty in the lower leagues that are used to winning and would be cheap. Off the top of my head, the brothers at Lincoln. They would jump at the chance of managing Rovers and would be very cheap.

I wouldn't be averse to giving the job to Johnson, seems to have done a great job with the u21s. The only problem in that is that Dunn would be involved, and he's proven himself to be clueless.
-
To say he's such an expert about knowing where to stand and what to do with the ball etc. etc., he doesn't set the team up well to do it, does he? Fraud.
-
Would anyone else give Stokes a do? How can he be any worse than the rest of them?
-
0-0 at half time. Tomlinson is playing, should take him off now so he's fine for Friday.
-
Looks like he was injured in the warm up.
-
Think he has got man of the match in the last 2 games so I would imagine so.
-
No I don't think so. Your initial comment was excessive, sarcastically asking where I'd been for 7 years. I'm not sure what you're talking about, how did I sound outraged?
