  1. “Gregg has got the budget lines, he knows what’s available to spend and he will then propose an acquisition of a player, whether that be a permanent transfer, a loan or a free transfer, and he’ll present that to me and the board and say ‘this is who we want’. fuck me we're going to struggle with GB having to go to the incompetent SW every time
  2. I think JDT and GB are in a bit more of a professional league than the incompetent TM and MV
  3. It's extremely contradictory from the club to concentrate on youth and the academy and in the same breath allow Lenihan and Nyambe to leave on a free
  4. Let's not forget I am now officially ITK having guessed our manager would be JDT 2 weeks before he was appointed. Currently guessing that we will sign Styles and Nyambe will sign a new deal
  5. Standard in the close season with contracts expiring for academy players.
  6. Apparently we had an interest in Ballard who is signing for Sunderland from Arsenal. Hope we hear of some movement today
  7. Agreed. Woeful signing. Would be happy to be proven wrong though - over to you Ryan Hedges
  8. This is what I'm proposing - let's move on from the debate of Mowbray. So moves I'd be making in the transfer market: CB - sell Ayala, bring in 2 new CBs promote Carter, see what Barnes is like. RB - give Nyambe a new contract - promote Pike. If not - sign a first team RB - Pike cover. LB - if Pickering isn't going to improve, promote Batty, sign a LB cover. GK - sell Pears - promote Eastham as backup. CM - promote Garrett, sign 2 new CMs CAM - promote Wharton - sign 1 new CAM. RW - sell Hedges - bring in 2 RWs. LW - sell Brereton - bring in 2 LWs ST - sell Gallagher, promote Burns, Leonard and Vale - sign a new ST. Income of £20m (Brereton), £200k (Hedges), £15-£20k a week (Ayala wages) . Mutual termination (Pears) £1m (Gallagher) Total income £21.5m - 50% to transfer kitty. £10m to play with. 11 new signings needed Previous budget maybe £2m? £12m for 11 signings. Over £1m per signing
  9. A pre season with a good manager and good coaches should do the trick with Dan
  10. Apparently the trialist was Peter Thomas from Rochdale
  11. Think @J*Bposted this last week
  12. How's Burns performing, hearing very very good reviews .
  13. Burns with 3/4 goals against Darwin. Why he's not in Portugal I do not know
  14. Thought Hedges was shit personally. But anyway. Mowbray, Mowbrays best mate, Pears Mowbray, Mowbrays Brother, Hedges
  15. Let's add Hedges to it with Mowbrays uncle or something at Hedges previous club. Add to the conspiracy.
  16. Are you able to name another 23-24 year old with that many league games and a RB who would be a suitable replacement? Ayala needs selling
  17. Absolutely spot on. Conversation over as far as I'm concerned. Let's stop trying to support Waggott and believing every single word the man says. Proof is in the pudding.
  18. The main worry Gordon is that he becomes the dud again? How many goals did he score 2nd half of the season?
  19. How do we know it's not a shit bit of cost saving from Waggot? I don't believe a word SW says ever
  20. His agent is actually a pretty nice bloke. Not sure he'd be the greedy type.
  21. Hahah sorry. Now just need Whitehall, Garrett, Leonard and Batty to step up. Think Batty should be knocking on the door right now tbh, looks class whenever I watch him.
