Isn't a defenders main point meant to be to defend? Trent Alexander Arnold - great at attacking but can't defend - dropped from England squads. People forget that Nyambe has been relatively good in the final 3rd this season imo, yes he may not deliver the ball into the box as much as Pickering, yet he consistently takes 1-2 defenders/midfielders out of the game which allows our attackers to be open to a pass.

I have to say Nyambes agency firm is a great firm. Man who owns it is an ex footballer who looks to help with investments for the footballers and educates on how to deal with big money, majority of people to my knowledge are mostly youngsters. I don't think he'd be taking the piss I'd be more inclined to say Rovers are.

People seem to be pointing the blame at the players for the lack of contract acceptance. But I think what people are forgetting is that it's 3 key players for the squad, it can't possibly be agent/player greed for all 3 players that would be mental! Maybe it is because they've been offered shit deals, let's not forget the initial contract offered to Nyambe was the same wage 😂, if he's been offered double it's going to be around £8k then, whilst we have Gallagher on circa £15k I assume. The discrepancy between the 2 is quite frankly insulting.

I'm of the opinion that only a poor manager has to set up a team that benefits just one player. You could say our team isn't as good as last season but we're all playing as a cohesive unit, we now have the wingers actually working back whereas last season Armstrong did little to no defensive work which destroyed us, but must have been the tactics for the team.
