Well I think its always been part of the plan, we just had to have a gap between sale of Arma and purchase of Obafemi in order to save on payment to Newcastle, and stop any suspicion. I'd be buzzing with him as a signing. 4 goals in 10 in the premier league is very good.

Really wouldn't surprise me if we signed him. Huge gap between Arma being sold, reduces the suspicion that Newcastle might have on this sell on clause too.

I personally think Carter is better than Lenihan and Wharton better than Lenihan and Ayala. I'd be keeping Carter to partner with Wharton when back fit as I think we'd concede a lot less goals.
