Dolan isn’t a target man n his pressing up top at the moment isn’t producing anything and his best run in form was on the left when BBD was injured. we don’t have a target man or a man to get their head on the end of anything. Like without Gallagher surely BBD would be at better use up top?

No he’s on the plane to Spain. Shame really considering we signed him for a big figure and gave him the time n then put him on a pedestal. I can accept he wants to go but why leave like this

Absolutely Dolan n Szmodics didn’t stop running all game. Putting that much pressure on their defence is actually critically important. I feel Dack n BBD don’t put in the same shift. But they definitely have more quality. I think for today’s game the pressure n fight was needed.

I think the pressure Gallagher Dolan Szmodics n Thomas from the front was immense and then Buckley n Travis cleaning up just behind. thought Dolan caused them a lot of problems all game just needs a little more quality in the final move but was brilliant. Absolutely bossed them, went after them n they couldn’t cope second half, massive 3 points.

To be honest this is the sort of game where we could have done with Gallagher n BBD up top playing balls into them with likes of Dack n Hedges playing off the two of them. We are trying to play through their press n getting mangled in midfield cus we are not strong enough or good enough to play around it. need to be more direct n put their defence under pressure. By the time we get through their midfield we have lost our momentum n their defence is just cleaning up

Players now a days spend a lot of time on artificial pitches this time of the year n tho that pitch looks decent there are definitely bobbles n it’s not always easy to keep your balance I know it sounds like an excuse but if your trying to play technically through a team these small things matter. rotherham are beating us physically all over the pitch and we can’t match them because we are trying to ticky tacky around them but if it’s not spot on it doesn’t work. we are now 2 down as a result.
