Ancelotti got them to 8th didn't he? Its a low finish for a manager of his quality but if he underachieved he underachieverd a damn sight better than frank
-
Nunez - when it clicks will be fantastic. Even though he's not putting chances away, he's causing havoc with defences, a touch more composure and he'll be up at the top end of the goal scoring charts

Are they thermostatic valves or just the plain ones ? Thermostatic valves can jam easily. When you bled the rad did you turn the system off whilst you did it ? I presume cold water was coming out of the bleed valve. Did the radiator not warm up from the bottom at all ?
When you are bleeding the radiator resist the temptation to remove the bleed screw completely. I made that mistake once about 10 seconds before the scalding hot water decided to put in an appearance.
Thermostatic valve. I don't think it's jammed, the pin (sorry guessing at the lingo) isn't stuck down and seems identical to the radiators that work.
The heating was off when I bled it and I just got cold water out.
The whole radiator is stone cold from the very bottom.

Have you bled all you rads Dom? I find with mine, it’s not always the one that’s cold that is the issue.
I think so but will have another check round - no doubt I missed one

More advice needed for the guy who drives spreadsheets for a living.
Got a radiator in my house that isn't working (and as far as I know has never worked in the three years since I've been in).
1. I've bled it
2. As far as I can tell the valves on both sides are open
3. There's decent pressure on the boiler - the room is on the third floor so I thought pressure might be an issue but the other two on that floor are fine.
Is there any thing else I should be trying before I have to get a man in to look at it *shudder*

I suspect due to his managements reaction after he wasn’t allowed to even travel with the squad for the Burnley game…
I missed this, what happened?

U can't possibly know hes levels above as maddison hasn't had the chance to play for a big club. Or played at a major tournament. Maddison has all the tools that Griezmann has. Wait till he's playing regularly In big competitions before making that judgement
Similar logic - you can't say Messi is better than me.

Part of it is because outside World Cups the BBC/ITV pundits and commentators never get to do games with him playing, ergo they seem to be a little starstruck.
Linekar and Ferdinand were two of the worst offenders and they do champions league coverage

I too find the fangirling coverage of Messi to be cringeworthy. Clearly a superstar of a player capable of things no other player is but the coverage is over the top to the point that I also want France to win it.
Things that have wound me up
1. Striker scored a goal, it was a great first touch and a decent finish with the outside of the boot. The first thing the commentator does is talk about Messi and the assist. Fair enough talk about the assist but to not even mention the goalscorer is disrespectful
2. Tries something that doesn't quite work. E.g. he dribbled past 2 players and then got tackled "joy to watch"
3. Does something that even I could pull off "is there anyone else like him" - yes literally everyone.

The manager debate I'm genuinely torn on. Southgate has transformed England, we've gone from a team grateful for making the quarter finals to a team expected to win tournaments. He's also had three tournaments which I feel is enough for an international manager. Do we let him have the euros?
The players seem to like him but also he doesn't seem to get that extra few % out of our attacking talent

Glad to see the warm weather training camp got us firing 👌.
How else would you suggest we prepare for a game in the snow??

Said it before and will say it again. Messi is a cracking player, no doubt about it, but the commentators and pundits constantly are cringeworthy beyond belief with how they talk about him.

Purely because he's had a week off training I wouldn't start him but he'd be a good option from the bench

It wasn't worth watching an hour and a half for brief flashes of brilliance, I could just watch the highlights for that
I totally agree with this! I really dislike it. Ive gotten flak from people before for saying I don't like Pep football. It looks fantastic as a highlights package but I really don't like watching a full game of it as there's a lot of passing it about, dominating the game without a lot of action.

Euro 2020 we knocked out Germany, who featured Haverts, Kroos, Goretzka, Kimmich, Neur, Muller, Werner.
Our route to the final was underrated. If we played Ukraine --> Denmark --> Germany it would have been a tricky draw. The order we did it in looks easy but at the end of the day it's the same three teams we have to beat but it can be dismissed because Denmark is an "easy semi"
