  1. That 20th goal seems so close but so far
  2. Very good game. One team looked like they'd played 48 hours ago and one team looked like they'd had a decent break. I hope someone makes this point to Jurgen Klopp when he moans about the fixture list.
  3. Get an FA member of staff or someone independent to go in and do the tests at each club. Letting the PL clubs do it themselves leaves it open to abuse
  4. Don't usually agree with Adrian Durham but caught a bit of talksport in my drive home earlier. They were talking about fixture congestion and all the players and managers who complain about it. The gist of his point was, I see where they're coming from but next season why not take a sizeable pay cut and then knock back the extra money from the broadcasters? Have to say he's got a point. BT and Sky pay handsomely for those fixtures and the players are happy to negotiate huge contracts against those broadcasting deals but then complain about fulfilling the fixtures. Also last time I checked they have 25 man squads. No one is forcing managers to play the same 11 when games are only 48 hours apart.
  5. If its someone else's it means someone else to contribute towards child maintenance and babysitting so I think it's a win win
  6. Got the missus up the duff 💪💪💪
  7. I quite like it but agree Tess is compeltely pointless but the show doesn't rely on the quality of the presenters like, for example, I'm a celebrity which has survived this long pretty much cos of ant and Dec.
  8. Tell you what is refreshing, I'm looking forward to the next rovers game for the first time in ages. For a few seasons I just can't be bothered with the next game "christ we're playing again" had to force myself to be interested. Now I'm looking forward to the next game, disappointed there's been no midweek games for a couple of weeks. I've not said this for years, I CANT WAIT FOR OUR NEXT GAME
  9. Bet that's the last goal Diaz will ever score for rovers knowing my luck with bets Fair play Tony mowbray, I spent a long while wishing for you to go but by luck or judgement he's stumbled upon a winning formula.
  10. Agreed. This is our best chance in a long time and I don't think it'll come round again any time soon so might as well make a real good go of it and get the Premier League jackpot.
  11. We can lose twice before we drop put the top 6. That's a massive change from getting a toe in and then losing 6 on the bounce
  12. If we have an extension option then it makes no sense to sell in January unless it is a big big offer
  13. Christ, fingers crossed for 3 goals in 4 then!
  14. Imagine if TM left whilst he was doing the best he's ever done. That would be the ultimate shithousery. Stay during in the death spirals and leave when we've found some form
  15. Nope. Make him earn it. A couple of weeks in top 6 does not erase his any failings in the past. Reassess at the end of the season, if he cocks it up get rid.
  16. Here's a sore one that must have been hilarious to watch. I was out for a run last night round town. Running down a footpath I approach a crossing where you can either take the steps downs or go down a disabled ramp which comes out at the bottom of the steps before you can cross the road. Little did I know in the dark that at the bottom of the steps is metal railings and you're meant to go right about 8ft and then it opens up to the road. Anyway, I approach the steps and I'm already checking the road is clear as I hop down the steps. Just by luck I'd timed it quite well that when I get to the road there should be a decent gap. I come off the last step and go to put a little burst on that I usually do when crossing roads. There was just enough space to get a decent bit of acceration before I smacked straight into the railings. Someone looking out the window of their house would have got a good you've been framed video for sure! I've just got bruised ribs and a mega deadleg
  17. The more basic games were the most addictive I thought. LMA manager in the 99 seasons was my first manager game spent days and days on it. Bought FM in the first lockdown and just couldn't get into it far too time intensive.
  18. Good results so far in other games. As it stands we're in the play offs and losing at the weekend.
  19. Any chance BBD could get another 4 this game. My car needs a new bumper
  20. Defensively James, Going forward Trent. For England I'd put James in over trent
  21. Everyone keeps saying "Roanldo has saved them many times, imagine where they'd be without him" I think as good a player as he is, he was a bad signing from a footballing point of view. Ole had a way he wanted to play and Ronaldo doesn't fit into that. But Ronaldo has to start every game and therefore you either have to play a player in a system that doesn't work for him or change the way you want to play. The arrival of Ronaldo probably upset the apple cart a little bit, imagine what cavani and sancho were thinking. Then there's the sulking after the first bad result which got magnified by the media and instantly there was a bad atmosphere around Ole .
  22. Apparently SAF leading the charge for poch. He was also apparently instrumental in bringing Ronaldo back. Me thinks it may be best if fergie kept his big red nose out of it.
  23. Remind me? I've lost track of their comings and goings. I was under the impression he'd largely built a decent squad. Using that squad effectively (leaving van de beck and sancho out for example) is a different question mind but the 25 is good isn't it?
