  1. TD shouldn't even be in the equation. But he is likely gonna be.
  2. Anyone expecting sg, td, and bb to get anywhere close to AA (combined) is having a laugh.
  3. Mowbray saw positives in our defeat to Morecombe - could this be the most cliché manager of all time just going through the fckin cliché motions? A proper manager is pissed right off and makes that clear to staff, players, and fans!
  4. Yeah, it doesn't sound like we forced this on them. It really is just two separate transactions made to initially look like we're getting a player in return.
  5. On the sending ours on loan debate, Id defo keep Carter around, How many seasons have we been caught due to injuries in defense and regretted sending some in that position out on loan? We had Johnson playing there last season ffs. We getting closer to Xmas, so unless Ayala breaks down again soon, he certainly will in the next few months. Lenihan (though had a fairly injury free season last) is another who in previous seasons picks up injuries. Wharton is not even back yet. Doesn't look good numbers to me, at all. I would hope one of the loans/freebie is a CB tbh. We ain't paying for one, that's for sure lol. The rapid CB, think he defo needs work. Could do with a loan. Butterworth. Can see the argument either way. Looks like a player that could play across the front three rather than solely up front like McBride. We lost AA and yet to find a replacement. So as of now, id keep him here. Guess it all depends ont he loans but if its clear he is not going to get a look in, a good season on loan in L1 or L2 could do him the world of good (provided he finally manages to stay injury free).
  6. Don't think they have much of a say tbh. They can nudge him this way as I guess its a better deal for them, but ultimately, the player has the final say. Plus, its not like they've offered him a new contract or anything and are pushing him out, so if I was in his shoes, I might do the opposite of what they want.
  7. Yeah, 'playing for Belgium/Chile is different to playing for us at Rovers'. Bigs us up as having a better operation than national teams and then obligatorily bigs up our next opponents as world beaters...
  8. You take positives from defeats against top teams, not the other way around.
  9. For somebody that coaches kids, you have a way of words about them lol.
  10. Didn't his club want 20 mil for him from Barnsley? Not happening.
  11. None of which will be seen - except on paying a few PL loans.
  12. To be fair, he only has to look at how its gone for Gallagher. Played out of position on the wing and even played RB ffs. Also, I agree on those suggesting we should spend 6 mil spread around, of course. That can only happen if the funds actually become available. I'd rather this kid and a few loans rather than nobody but loans.
  13. I didn't say the deals were not separate. Just his name has been linked to this AA story for some time. I know both deals are separate. Agree ont he rest.
  14. This has a feeling of not happening. The lad surely would have known for days of his links to the AA deal and would have thought about it. Obviously waiting to see what else materialises before deciding. Cant blame him I guess.
  15. Yes, wish him good luck. Proved to be a good signing and we now have to think how we can replace his goals.
  16. Likely done, just I think the Obafemi thing needs to be sorted first before it all becomes official. Different fee otherwise.
  17. Seems other clubs are in for him as well. I bet Southampton are nudging him this way though as its the better deal for them. AA coming and they have completed the loan signing of a young striker from Chelsea.
