Neither was Raya to some, but he is now. Think Rothwell gets a poor deal from some. Yes his end product is not always great but he isnt used right. Should be in midfield, not the forward line. Not many in this division can drive through midfield like he does. In the right setup, i think he could play at Pl level.

Personally, although I hope he does well, just cannot see it. He needs a lot of chances, he is not what you would call clinical. His pace wont be as big a weapon in the PL, and that is basically one of his best assets. Still, hope he does continue to develop, improve and become a good PL striker.

What was the point of that video? It was terrible. Player receives ball, players runs with ball fairly quickly, player loses it or plays a terrible final ball. So, his highlights are, he can run with the ball quite quickly? Snap him up!

The longer it drags on, the fewer cards we hold. Other clubs know this. TM is a stubborn old goat though, and wants the numbers to show how much of a guru he is and how he made the club so much profit out of the deal. He will see 6 mil net as not good enough to gloat about. Keep holding out and you wont get a net.

Even with AA gone, I don't hold out much hope of SG playing centrally. More likely we will see Dolan there IMO. This is TM remember! 2 x 6 foot strikers crossing for a 4 foot winger.

Giggs, Beckham, Scholes, Butt, the Neville brothers at least three of those became world class - possibly 4 at a push. The other two were a bracket or two below (Butt and Phil). No chance our youngsters are at that level - otherwise we wouldn't have them.

To be fair, you could have said that about Rhodes - with his terrific CV. Sure, PL clubs will look to players who have done well in the Championship, but it is always a gamble. Not all players that shine in this division are able to make the step up. It would be the same us buying top performing L1 players. Some make the cut, others don't. Hope he does go on to become a top player in that division, but I can see why some doubt that happening.
