  1. Feels like everything on target lately is just going in. 4 shots on target, we concede 4 goals. Against Watford it was the same - yet we have 26 shots on goal each game to get a similar amount of goals.
  2. Still furious. Furious with how we defended, furious with TM for setting up and picking that defense. JRC cannot defend and was at fault for 2 goals, Lenihan for some reason cannot get to grips with this high pressing game (he has been crap ever since we started playing it). Furious that Evans got in the team. What does he offer? Just slows things down (that is when you even notice he is playing). I know we have been light in CM but there is always a better option than Evans. Could have put Elliott into one of those positions and Dolan in the front 3. Elliott has a football brain, the mobility and the ability to play the 'Rothwell' role in CM, no doubt about it. Heck, even put Davenport in there over Evans. Subs were awful. Buckley came on and was just brushed aside time after time. SG, on the wing...again....like this is some sort of secret plan B. It has never worked, though we couldnt tell if it would have worked last night as he couldn't even control the damn ball.
  3. 4 shots on goal, 4 conceded - was similar against Watford. Why does every chance that a team has against us seem to go in? We look on top, then bam, chance, goal. Every fckin time!!!! Lenihan has been shite this season, needs to be Ayala and Williams going forward - please dont play JRC at RB against good teams.
  4. i just think they will be used depending on opponent. Reading sit back, so we need a bit more creativity from the wings.
  5. In isolation Evans starting aint that bad - he isnt going to thump one in from 20 yeards like Jonhson or dribble past 3 players like Rothwell but he will be tidy. I am a bit more concerned about GK. Pears, is he the play it out kind? Anyone seen him play? We already know that Reading are quite clinical, so our second keeper in net is not ideal.
  6. To do a Mani - Evans ??????????‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️ Blimey, first time i been in those Emjoi's - how the fck do you find them so easy? there's hundreds of em!
  7. Agree as much as I like Downing as a professional and his performances last season. We can barely agree on who out of our current midfielders is to be dropped and we still have Dack and Travis to come back. He was solid as LB cover but we have two LBs now though admittedly id rather Downing there than Bell. i just cannot see how he would get many minutes at all barring an injury crisis. If we really HAD to get another player in on a free to fill up our full playing quota - it would have to be a steady/solid CB as cover. Williams and Ayala have already missed games and we know Lenihan gets a few injuries a season too - only takes two of them to be out at the same time to really stretch us. Relying on Wharton or Magloire/Carter too much could cost us in what is our best chance of competing at the top end of the table in years. Any solid CBs out there on a free? Perhaps someone from Europe?
  8. Yeah, as I said, I think we have enough good options in the middle now and I assume TM will rotate them due to so many games and depending on the opposition. I just feel that against Forest, we really missed what Rothwell brings - even if it does not always bring an end-result, just him driving forward with the ball is enough to scare teams and cause a bit of panic. His end product has improved from that position too. Just my opinion but I believe the mobility, speed and directness of Rothwell is something I would rather have against a side known for letting the opposition having possession before countering with speed and efficiency. We are going to need mobile players that can get up and down quickly. If you could combine ROthwell and Johnson though, you would have a hell of a player. Rothwell has poor finishing while Johnson is great from distance and in the air.
  9. Exactly, score first and they have to come at us - at which point we will play them off the park. In theory anyway...
  10. Johnson has been good so far but this is the problem we now have with so much depth. I think its best to rotate our midfield options depending on the opposition. Rothwell has to come in for his ability to bring the ball forward and go past people. Holtby is the creative one, and Trybull does the neat and tidy defensive stuff. Johnson can hit the ball, is decent in the air and he gives us a bit of strength and shithousery in midfield. I just think I would prefer added creativity than what Johnson brings for this match against a team that generally sits back and counters. You think we have tough decisions now, just wait until Travis and Dack come back.
  11. But by doing that, you are putting Johnson in the Trybull position and he is slow on the half turn. He doesnt really suit being a DM, same with Holtby and Rothwell.
  12. For me, Rothwell comes in for Johnson. Rothwell Holtby Trybull
  13. Are they real? Doubt it. I don't do plastic lol Seriously, my wife is fitter and shes 40 now.
  14. We will do them - they have not faced anything like us so far.
  15. Just dont get the fascination with her tbh. 6 out of 10 for me - those fake lips make her look like a fish.
