I can't find the post, but I said when we flogged him for a pittance he would go on to play for Spain and here we are.. I don't want to go over old ground, but whilst he had a few weaknesses his positive attributes far outweighed those. The guy was class and produced saves he had no right to make. Sold one of our own for a pittance to a rival. Some of the worst business I've ever seen. It's not like he'd never played a game for us and was somewhat of an unknown quantity. Raya had exhibited massive amounts of potential. Absolutely sickening. That we have a downgrade in Kaminski that's fairly steady no makes it no less bitter of a pill to swallow. Would love it if Rothwells move collapsed due to us not getting the incomings. Then Joe has to bite the bullet, take the flack off the fans and drag us to the Premiership at Bournemouths expense. Do the right thing Joe, with Rothwell and one or two inforcements we're going up. Just give it a few months. If it doesn't work out then take your move to Bournemouth.

That lad that's just joined Celtic from MK Dons looks a very handy schemer, a bit of bite too. He'd have been perfect for us.

No way is Costello a wing back. The one attribute you expect a good wing back to possess is pace, and lots of it. The very nature of the position requires you frequent bursts forward and back. Pace is something Costello most certainly does not possess. I don't mean that negatively, the lad's got lots of other very useful attributes- he's relatively skilful and can pick a pass. Henceforthwith I see him as centre midfielder. The fact you can shoehorn him into a wingback role is a credit to his versatility, but he does not possess the attributes to play their to a consistently decent standard- I'd have Nyambe there all day every day above Costello. Rather see him utilized in the middle of the park.

If Lenihan gets suspended in slides, Ayala. Too easy!

Gallagher runs himself into the ground which is admirable and prevents the opposition playing it out. But that's a double edged sword, it means he's expending bags of energy away from his attacking game, it also pulls him into some questionable positons. Contrast Gallagher with a Rhodes who made a career out of just poaching around. I'd like to see Gallagher given a chance through the middle with a bit more of his energy preserved for attacking.

I do hope Rothwell is injured and wasn't having talks anywhere else. Be suicidal to let him leave.

Wharton reminds of me a young Gary Cahill, he should go on to have a very good career.

Costello needs a loan at a club where he can cut his teeth in his favoured position. I don't think he has the athelticism to play out wide in any shape or form. He could however become a very useful centre midfielder.

Given the level of officiating in the Championship it might be worth trying to start with an extra man, they probably wouldn't notice. We've been on the end of some terrible officiating recently.

Talk about reactionary. We lost a game. To me it looked like the plan was to bypass midfield, get it to the forwards to hold up then push up and support. Sometimes things just don't work out. We failed to hold up the ball adequately and the supply of balls forward (Wharton and one good ball by Costello apart) were poor. We still could and probably should have squeezed a point out of that one. Onto Boro, Travis back, Zeeifuck in at right back, revert to our succesful system of play, hopefully get a win. I wouldn't want to playing on the back foot encouraging pressure down the flanks. Probably could do with some reinforcements in centre mid or make the most out of Davenport. We can't get away with two centre mids. My concern is how we'd change the game form the bench... Boro will be coming to nick an early goal and hold onto that. Rovers are immense at home. 3-1 Rovers after an early goal from Boro, super Joe to rip them a new one and Makanday brace, promotion back on track.

I think Bournemouth will slide down into the play-offs, second spot is anyones. Such an enjoyable division to play in. I obviously want to get promoted but the Premiership is bloody boring.

Best midfielder in the league plays for Rovers. I've yet to see anyone that's close to Rothwell.

Offer Rothwell and Lenihan better deals, sign the MK Dons lad and it'll have been a tremendous window, I think I'd like to see a more able no2, perhaps give Eastham a go if the chance aries.
