Season imploded when we lost Batth.. What a difference he makes. Carter and Hyam just don't seem that compatible for some reason.. With him being in the final year of his contract I'd sell Hyam and bring in two other centre half's .. Loan out Wharton and let him get up to speed.. Buckley, JRC, Foreshaw, Woodrow and Pears should be moved on to generate some funds to re-invest.. Said it since we lost Rothwell, we need a ball carrying centre midfielder.. Dolan's going to need replacing and another striker... Then we'll need all those squad players replacing as well.. Should be an 'interesting' summer... We'll sell Brittain, one of Trav and Trondstadt, Pears and maybe even Hyam.. JRC and Bucko fill in those gaps- youth GK and the fit again Wharton steps up as back-up for Batth and Carter..

It did that.. I just would have thought that it would have been, in that particular period, renewing ones season ticket would have been more difficult due to the tensions (which have never really subsided).. Now, the way club is operating is how it's operated for a while- I'm just trying to understand the distinction between then and now.. If the people running the club want to attract fans the equation is pretty simple: Ambition + Investment + Entertaining football= More fans... Speculate to accumulate...

I think we need: A ball carrying center mid. Another pacey winger. More quality up front. Perhaps an extra center half - we fell apart when Batth was out..

Trondstadt and Travis have enough to nullify their centre midfield.. I think it's going rest on our creative players.. Cantwell, Ohashi, Kargbo, Gueye, Dennis, Dolan.. At this level, that's going to give anyone a headache.. Would love to see Dennis make his mark. Seems really happy at the club, great chemistry between him AK and Gueye.

Really don't give a shit how we get there.... We've had some belting players and achieved jack shit.. If we get into the play-off's I'm a happy man.. Premier League, what's even the point? Gueye is never going to be a high pressing forward.. utilize the lads strength'sm.. he has Great feet, can pass and link Play, strong as an ox and a threat in the air... Why not play Ohashi at the Pinnacle, doing your pressing and Gueye in a slightly free role off him breaking into the box for headers etc ..

Totally agree...what I was saying is I thought him and Ohashi were equally poor.. however Woodrow was heavily involved in our goal.. yet Ohashi is significantly higher in the ratings.. I'd have given them both 5.5 however, simply because of his central role in our goal Woodrow deserves a 6 (subjective opinion). I just think the ratings is a really interesting thing to unpick..

Just looking at the player ratings...not a fan of Foreshaw, however thought he played really well.. surprised he wasn't around a 7 at least.. likewise I couldn't separate Woodrow and Ohashi.. However Woodrow at least got an assist.. Funny old game is football..
