Stanley got half the tier ..4500 plus tickets and wanted more. Liverpool said they could have more but would have to take the whole tier..9000 ? tickets due to no other way of segregating the tier. If Stanley had done this they had to sell out ALL the tickets. Any tickets not sold Stanley were told they would have to pay back Liverpool 20-25 quid a ticket that wasnt sold. The reason being Liverpool could sell the half tier no problem to their own fans. Stanley wanted more and would easily have sold more but couldnt take the risk.
