  1. i can see m'boro playing a weak side against us now after that match, a similar side that lost to charlton imo. happy days

  4. lucky 15 today: 2:00 denman 2:35 commercial flyer 3:15 moscow flyer 4:00 no where to hyde
  5. i thought hughsey said it was £450,000 tv fee? £160,000 does sound more realistic.
  6. i think your right mate, even sunderland have pulled it off though they have not won at home yet
  7. this game is moving into our favour all the time. who cares if the scousers turn up anyway!! im more concerned about our fans!!! with the emotion of the day, the fans boycot and our supreme home form this season, the match is looking alot easier imo.
  8. arsenal are really hitting form at the moment, the only distraction which can see them faulter in the prem is the champions league matches against juventus, hopefully that will put a spanner in the works. they have their injury problems though many are nearly recovered and will be back in aaction in the next week or two. freddy is out on the sidelines for a while now though. liverpool on the other hand are really struggling up front, the points margin between them and the chassing pack will be in sight if they keep losing.
  9. no team can ever be a bigger club than birmingham city
  10. i had a well bad day yesturday and i'm sorry if i upset anybody. i sort of took my anger out on members on the mb and it was stupid. i'm well pleased everthing is tidy now and the happy days are back in business. as for boro, easy game imo and 11 home wins should be on the board. hopefully a better performance than the villa outing, so im going for a 3-0 rovers. bellamy, pongolle and savage to score and the attendence 24, 369.
  11. gazsimm on almost every post you write, you always end the paragraph or the quote with LOL!!!!!!! could you please stop it because its really starting to ###### me off i don't need to laugh out loud and if you must put something on the end of your posts, those smilies on the left of the screen which have been provided to use on the mb will do. thankyou.
  12. keeping to the tackling subject, ryan nelson...what a tackle on baros!!! thats a proper goal saving tackle i also thought brad friedel was on his game, he stood up big between the sticks and villa had no answer.
  13. happy birthday reidy and enks!! hopefully they can all go out and get smashed celebrating a victory over the villans tomorrow too.
  14. yeah for around 10million last time i heard. i don't think we have that much transfer money and if we did i can't see us laying it all out on the line for one player no matter how good he is.
  15. its not just todd's playing ability why he is in the team mate, its his leadership out on the pitch. thats why he's captain, he had player of the season last year for turning his career round and leading blackburn back up with the elite, he gets the job done at all cost.
  16. we got to be up for this one from the off. my team: friedel neill nelson todd gray reid bentley savage pedersen bellamy sinima pongolle subs- enks, zurab/axe, emerton, kuqi/dickov, peter. it looks like its going to be wet and muddy, so we will have to do alot of scrapping in midfield and in the carpark after last years events are anything to go by:lol: . i think savage will have to be on top of his game, control the midfield and it should be easy pickings. i think pedersen is back but still no tugay which is a big miss again so bentley will hopefully keep up his good form in the middle pf the park. villa are half decent away from home and have had some good results though imo on a wet, cold saturday night at ewood park, they have nothing really to play for in the league and have a f.a.cup tie next week which they may have one eye on so they won't be up for the fight. rovers 3-0 villa pedersen 10 bellamy 55 savage 69
  17. arsenal have done well against the italian teams in recent years too. even though juventus have a strong side, it isn't the same intimidating place to go as their ground is 3/4's empty. i think juventus will be too strong overall though, so arsenal for the KO
  18. lua-lua has had a lot of personal problems with the death of his father. i don't think he will relish playing in the championship and playing at fratton park that donkey bell would of done me head in by now!! maybe a fresh start is what he needs like bentley for example
  19. the guy is a complete w####r!! anti euro smiths fan, the article is well funny mate lawro is probably best friends with leighton james
  20. that has crossed my mind a few times but i can't really see them doing it even though they knocked out real madrid in the last round. a team like barcelona would ruin their defence. i beleve the draw is at 11:45am today?
  21. did anyone see the riverside lastnite? was like a mud bath
  22. top 6 material i likes that. well good article, likes the bit "we can get our passports anytime we want" really looking forward to the villa game now
  23. chelsea have not lost to spuds in their last 27 meetings i think i read some where
  24. could be a big crowd in on saturday as for people under 16 its only £1!!! not including the upper jack walker stand though. it's just a shame its a late kick off and on p.p.v. i'll go for a 24,610 att.
