Summer Transfer Window 2019
Tugay's Right Foot replied to Neal's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
TM: "We have been working really hard all summer to try and identify positions, I feel sometimes there is people out there that have all the answers. They know all the players to sign and ‘why haven’t we strengthened here and why haven’t we done that?’ If it was as easy as that we would all do it. It is not as easy as that." -
Let’s see. The window closes on the 8th, right? Might be able to do some more loans. we might be in for a rough ride for the next few matches
-
Saw Rich Sharpe’s tweet. “Don’t anticipate crazy end to window” Seems like our business is done.
-
Is this tracking allegedly or on good authority? Need abit of good news this weekend mate
-
Get what you mean. Too many options at LB putting quality aside so realistically won’t get another in. Won’t mind Hart now. RB we already have a specialist in nyambe and he should bloody start.
-
We still have 5 more days to get in someone committed on a permanent deal. At least one hard cb.
-
Have a good one, lad! Get sloshed
-
Bennett will start, Young nyambe has no preseason! (What TM might say, not pure fantasy)
-
Back to the drawing board then. Couldn’t see new style, new system. New signings all on after preseason. Same back 4 though. That’s where the surgery is needed
-
Cannot for the life of me fathom spending that money on Gallagher and sticking him on the right now. Touches not good for wing play. full time
-
Bennett with another silly foul. Running down the clock
-
It looks like we have run out of ideas! Accepted the result
-
So about 4 mins of injury time left to play. Looks like a very plum 3 points for charlton, an away game and being newly promoted at that
-
Elliot Ward
-
Clutching at straws, yeah. TM could see the frailties last season. Get what you mean. Bright side might be we have new defenders starting next week, nyambe one of them and wouldn’t mind Tosin starting. Rothwell must start too, though his cameo in this match is being anonymous
-
Almost third for Charlton. Needlessly given away by Bennett in middle of our half
-
Back to plodding insipid stuff. They are happy to spend the time in our half. Deflated feel about the team with Armstrong and Travis out
-
Gallagher looks gassed. Not as effective now being on the right.
-
It started with bell missing a throw in. Switched off there. Their striker snuck behind him for a shot that Mulgrew blocked. And then again
-
10 mins more to go. Maybe time to bring Big Ben on
-
So 2-1 to Charlton. Bell is really the weak link
-
Johnson deffo a cut above Evans and king Richie at least in this match. Puts himself about and passing’s not bad. Threat in the air and built a unit
-
Johnson opens his account! Counted as own goal
-
Charlton has issues. bowyer was reported few days ago talking about their transfers and needing 5 to 6 new players and that it’s a good time for us to play them. Newly promoted etc etc. We really ought to be beating them
-
It’s four new signings in the first team. Think Gallagher is a shade lower than the other three, would consider graham to come on. The style of play seems very similar to last season.
