You have to ask what the hell is Gestede doing? Surely this is one of his key responsibilities, to retain our best / key players, and then to keep adding to these and improve the squad over time. If he’s not on top of this, why is he even at the club?

Don’t see how you could play either of them. Both been a liability of late.

Tracking our (outbound) loan players 24/25

Actually some very impressive play from him there. Hope he can build on it. -
Rovers kits 24/25 season
Gutted replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Exactly, I’ve been saying the same for years. I can’t believe we don’t use our iconic halved kit as our usp branding. Any kit we play in, home / away / third kit/ training etc should always be halved. We’re missing a huge opportunity and every kit could look amazing and be instantly recognised as Rovers.- 410 replies

v Hull City (a) - 29/12/23
Gutted replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Surely that can't be right......I don't believe it. Someone tell me its a joke...no club would allow a player to have a phone on the bench. -
v Leicester City (h) - 01/10/23

It isn't just training though. Wahlstedt will have had a number of games including u23, cup and behind closed doors. The point is, unfortunately, based on these, the management and coaching staff, have deemed him not yet ready to take over from Pears. The fact that he isn't is obviously not great news, but hopefully medium/ longer term he'll prove a good signing. -
The Blackburn End will, as usual be 100% behind the team. I think in this instance you would find the team 100% behind the supporters.

v Cardiff City (h) - 1/1/23

I'd play with that right now. Morton and Travis on bench. That is our future midfield as thing stand, and I'd have all 3 of them ahead of Morton. -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach
Gutted replied to Tom's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I still can't fathom how Morton plays every single game and gets a free pass for contributing so little. 1 assist and no goals in 20 league games I think......Happy to be corrected if wrong. Not a patch on Harvet Elliot and far close to Leighton Clarkson. I'd chose Adam Wharton ahead of him based on what I've seen to date. -
Good to see those highlights with positive play, forward passing and chances being created. A marked contrast to the negative anti football in recent away games.

v Watford (h) - 13/9/22 (possibly)…
Gutted replied to rigger's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Agree. Morton and Smodics should be benched until they start making a positive contribution. Adam Wharton has done more in a couple of games than the pair of them combined. -

Get out of this club right now Mowbray. You are a disgrace. Ps Take you're fellow losers with you......that's you Waggot, Venus etc. Parasites -

Crowd needs to turn on Mowbray big time now to force him out. That will be the only positive of turning up on Monday -
Mowbray, the summer and beyond
Gutted replied to TheRovers1994's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Personally I'd take a defeat on each remaining game if it guaranteed the departure of Mowbray, Venus and Waggot -
If we'd have stuck with Mowbray's 'game plan' we'd have been comprehensively beaten. Fortunately his set up was so inept fans and players demanded change, with the odd exception such as yourself possibly. Thankfully common sense and professional pride prevailed.

That's what teams pushing for promotion do, find a way to win when the odds are against you or down to 10 men etc. Respect to anyone who does that.......... we talk a good game about character etc, about time we started showing it.

v Fulham (h) - 3/11/2021
Gutted replied to CambridgeRover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
100%. It's about time we beat a team a few points ahead of us....injuries or no injuries. Like any team in this league they are well beatable if we go into it with the right attitude.....over to you Mowbray, we're not playing Liverpool -
New 17 games season ticket unveil by BRFC
Gutted replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Hi Mick, I don't think ot is meaningless at all and is something the club should be proudly stating as our USP / badge of honour. Blackburn Rovers the most successful town club in the country........(if not in any of the major leagues in Europe?) -
PLAYER WATCH v Huddersfield Town
Gutted replied to tonyoz's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Exactly Tony, he obviously thought he was some sort of genius after the Cardiff game, and that he'd show how clever he was and over complicated things costing us the game. -

Well done with those substitutions Mowbray. This work by Tony confirms they prob cost us the game. Please go now and take your useless cronies with you.....yes that's you Maggot -

A wins a win even though meaningless overall. Thought Dack looked sharp when he came on. Good to see Boro players thinking for themselves and not doing the knee nonsense. -
