  2. QPR not full strength but… Olamide Shodipo starts. No Chris Willock or Luke Amos, way back from injury. ** Young striker Sinclair Armstrong is on the bench, as is loan signing Taylor Richards.
  3. No Phillips in Bench/defence cover?
  4. Maybe come January he might get a chance if Mowbray isn’t managing. He responded well to a different manager at Shrews so IMO a clash of personalities with Mowbray is perhaps why he isn’t playing not his undoubted potential.
  5. It’s looking like Brereton might have to miss a couple of matches due to Chili too?? Can’t really afford to rely in two strikers /Dolan??( & youngsters)

  7. Well this man should know the score by this evidence
  8. Got it I think Hakan Sukur 9 appearances and a broken leg
  9. I recall a bid 6 months earlier for Jones by Ferguson , which for some reason didn’t happen, then a new contract and the clause added and then 6 months later a sale. You tell me the version of events and who benefited And why .
  10. There were forces at work far greater than Phil Jones personal aspirations as I’m sure you really know. IMO you can’t blame a player for wanting increased wages/greater cup/European opportunities but in this case this wasn’t the controlling force in this transfer http://en.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/95828.html
  11. Do we really need to go over the off record agreements and Speculated back pocket benefits between Big Sam and Alec F again. IMO Jones wasn’t the issue here. This has been debated long and hard in old treads.
  12. I recall a player who put his all into every challenge at the expense of injury and who played from back, brought ball forward. His main fault was putting himself into every challenge and risking injury (but he won most challenges/timed these well) but imo his work rate for Rovers/passion and contribution was never an issue. Oh how we have short memories / re write history as fans ( UTD signing doesn’t rewrite above)
  13. I’d go with the latter I’d say he has a shopping list and is playing the dangerous waiting game. With possibly a few loan deals lined up if it doesn’t work out. But then I’m an optimist (after the last few windows I should have learnt my lesson)
  14. My question is this: Mulgrew is on our books. Yes he had fallen out with the manager but: should he atleast be featuring on the bench? is he better than current players in our back 4? if he does not leave this season has Tony taken lessons from Zidane and is he determined to carry on having Mulgrew perform a Gareth Bale role at the club ? Rovers the new Real Madrid **Maybe Tony could roll him out as a new signing
  15. Mark Bunn feeling nostalgic. (Last two posts liked by Bennett too for first time in ages) at 34 could he be tempted to become a number 2 at rovers again and put his Cambridge coaching on hold ???
  16. In an ideal world tomorrow’s new away strip reveal at 9am would be worn by a new signing. Shame this won’t be the case ...
  17. I recall us nearly signing Roy Keane only for Utd to scupper the desk at the last minute. These things happen in football.
  18. Surely he’s got to quarantine for 15 days before he can meet for a medical/club representatives or an I missing something???
  19. Wouldn’t he Need to quarantine after for 15 days?
  20. From previous posts the suggestion is that a player will have to be sold to cover wages/help balance the books so more likely your team minus either Dack or/and Armstrong is the mire likely scenario with a potential goal keeper Loan. to answer your question no I’d prefer a solid goal keeper/defence to Dack I’m afraid or even Armstrong we managed half of last season with them not featuring for periods but leaking 5-6 goals is not something they can shore up. Recent example Messi/Barcelona ?? ( aside let’s not forget we once beat Barcelona in a friendly)
