Think people's views on attending are predominantly influenced by which age bracket they fall into. The more mature shall we say will need more persuasion that it is safe to do so.

Personally think the earliest when fans will be admitted to grounds in UK is start of 2021- 2022 season in August 2021 to give time for development and provision of a vaccine and adequate testing of the population for anti bodies to see who has had it and it's not 100% certain at the moment you can't catch it again. I had already decided not to attend the Bristol City game even prior to it being pulled for the same reasons as mattyblues father in law.

Nonsensical time to be doing this with most of the country sat at home with reduced income and counting every penny -
Tim Brooke Taylor (part of the Goodies) claimed by the virus. Very sad.

Consequence of advertising revenue's falling off a cliff. Case of trying to bleed more coin out of a dwindling readership is waggott on the board? -
Because he is a higher tax rate payer. It's 80% up to a cut off figure of around 2500 pcm

Hadn't realised until looking at Wikipedia that Paul Bradshaw played in the first under 21 international for England. Thinking further about Paul probably the best young keeper we have had in fifty years left us aged 21 for wolves for a then club record fee for wolves. Think it is Jim Arnold's grandson who has been appearing for Northampton in goal this season.

Within a season we had been completely spoiled in the centre forward stakes! -
Opinions on Mike Newell

My memories of watching him from the Riverside are of the ball bouncing off him for a good few feet before he got it under control. Agree completely with your other comments. Once he had got it under control he did bring others into play. Depended on whether there was a deep lying midfield player close enough to him to take the ball away if there wasn't he was able to recover the ball hold it up and lay it off -
They did however have only 1 match left to play in the season before any play offs

Opinions on Mike Newell

Mike Newell wouldn't sign for DM took the arrival of Kenny to change his mind. Couldn't control a ball for toffee but was a perfect foil for Speedie and Shearer. If Shearer enjoyed playing with him then there can't be any better recommendation. Likely to be the only Rovers hat trick scorer in the clubs history in the champions league -
Waggott can't make any comments on what went on before he was here. The bloke is clueless. The next six months is going to be a clear indication of their commitment to the club. This has barely got going in India to date and already impacting on their business.

Bearing in mind China lockdown has been more strict than here to the worst affected parts and we are around ten weeks behind difficult to see our games resuming before September
-
Not at the moment still possible to be promoted from national league north those results have not been experiencing so Chorley still can be relegated
-
With social distancing likely to be in place for some time with the approach today appearing to be manage this disease by a period of lockdown and subsequent less intense restrictions reacting to any subsequent waves of infection with further lockdowns the fact we have large areas of underused seating may work to our advantage. Can see in future crowd restrictions being applied relative to the size of the grounds as a means of progress in the future when we are further into this

If you are bored have a read up about Andy McEvoy. Top top player who was with Rovers for the best part of ten years up to 66-67 I guess from your initial selection he is very much before your time -

The club has so many empty parts of the ground what about opening those up so people can sit 1metre apart. Rather than cramming everyone into ever decreasing areas -

There is however a flu jab every year on offer. The problem with this is the projected infection rates 60-80% way more than flu! Death rate running in UK at 2% of those infected. Regular flu deaths annually in UK 10000 approx. If 60% of population get the virus that's 42million death rate of 2% is 840000 think about that. -
By the time we get to the Leeds and West brom games it is not beyond the realms of possibilities that these will be played behind closed doors as I see the government has now called a consultation meeting with all sport authority

According to sportrac he is on 10k per week at 19 so very much out of touch with working class people. The celebration was way over the top. No idea if he has celebrated the other 3 goals he has scored like that for Swansea or whether this was a personal reaction to us were there rumours about us looking at this lad in the run up to the January window?
