Horror show from Wednesday but fair play to Buckley , he's putting more effort in tonight than his last games. Playing right hand side of a front three he's been ok -

This is going to get nasty pretty soon. Not sure Buckley is someone you want in the trenches with you in situations like this either -

Off topic, but Sheffield Wednesday chairman just released this fairly explosive statement about club ownership. We may not be a million miles from something similar, but I hope not. ππ Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri has released an explosive statement this morning. He's said: "We all love Sheffield Wednesday and I am a supporter as well as the owner who must love and care for the club more than anyone else because of the position I am in as chairman. I must take responsibility for everything at the club, including the financial support which is something I always do. But from now, I will not put additional money into the club. "If you say you are the owner and I am the custodian, then show me how to be the good owner and help save your club. You want me to leave but you want me to spend money? If you want me to leave, then show me how to run the club and invest the money before I do that. "You have no right to ask me to leave. I am the one who saved the club and spent the money for the club, I am the one who needs to pay around Β£2million on average every month. Some fans need to have more respect for owners of clubs and not be so selfish, thinking of their own benefit without doing anything good to the club. "This is not acceptable and as a result I am not willing to inject more money while I am being treated unfairly by those fans." The Owls have a must-win game against Sunderland this evening. π¬ #CCP | #SWFC -

I'm still waiting for a goal we've conceded that the keeper wasn't blamed for. Just seems to be a vendetta against them for some reason. To say it trickled in is ridiculous -

Having defended Pears at times for some of the goals we've shipped this season, the time is right for a change as I feel as a whole the defence has lost a bit of faith in him and contributed to the goals we've let in. By the way, as much as I loved TK, you've obviously not watched some of the goals Luton have conceded this season -

Beginning to agree on that. Getting overrun in there atm. Also time for the Pears situation to come to a head. I don't know if the defence are losing confidence in him but Wahlstedt now has to be given his chance. It's crazy, because I really believe we have a squad capable of challenging if we can get the balance right in the team -

Or maybe he doesn't believe Pears has been as culpable as others for those goals. Certainly don't think it's down to ruthlessness! Also hope Sigurdsson is given time to get up to speed and not slaughtered on here after 10 mins -

Obviously as frustrated as we are atm. I thought last night was a time to maybe give him a rest as he didn't look 100% after the injury at the weekend. -

With stats like that , surely it can't be long before the chances start being converted. Be a lot more worrying if we weren't creating anything. That first 35-40 mins was the best I have seen us play in many a year. -

Needs game time as he may well be needed in the coming games with a tough schedule before the next international break. Makes sense to me tbh. Presume it also means Travis is ok -

Sigurdsson playing for U21s tonight πππ -
Sorry, he was totally anonymous. Don't remember him breaking into a sprint once, just seemed to be jogging around and never getting involved in the game at all . Substituted with 20 mins to go
-
I think the best that could be said for Buckley tonight is that he's having a "quiet" game

Could maybe go 4-3,-3 with Szmodics as a false nine ? Not sure I'd even risk Travis with the busy schedule for the next few weeks. Can't afford to lose him for any length of time Pears Brittain Carter. Hyam Pickering JRC. Garrett. Wharton Hedges. Szmodics. Moran -

Sam Szmodics-Your thoughts?
Comfortably numb replied to BRFC4EVA's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
It's not Szmodics I'll n particular I'm talking about to be fair. Moran had half an hour on Saturday and struggled admittedly to adjust to the pace of the game. But there's no doubt there's a player in there and will be big for us this season Same with Telalovic, came on at a time when Boro were having their best spell and spent most of the time chasing down the two Boro cbs. Had little to chance to show what he could do with the ball at his feet, apart from that through ball to sammi -

Comfortably numb replied to BRFC4EVA's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Sammi Szmodics, the perfect example of how you shouldn't write a player off after watching him for 45 minutes. Some players adjust to the rigours of this league quickly, others, although talented, need time. Let's not rush to judge some of our new lads too quickly
