  10. Jimmy Reed - Honest I Do This song features on the Rolling Stones 1st album released in April 1964, which I bought on the release date from the record department of the Co-op store on Town Hall St. It was much nearer to school, BTGS, than going to Reidy’s. I walked proudly across town with the album under my arm, making sure everyone could see it. It was the best “musical” day of my life. I still play it regularly to this day.
  11. Yesterday’s score times. Spooky.
  12. Mott The Hoople - Roll Away The Stone
  13. I see that weasel features K*an Is wasting no time on stamping his authority on dragging Melbourne Victory to the depths of despair. Their latest result, a 6-0 drubbing by rivals Melbourne City. You have to hand it to him, at least he’s been consistent throughout his career. Consistently shite, that is.
  14. The Rolling Stones - Play With Fire
  15. The Chiffons - Sweet Talkin’ Guy
  16. The Four Tops - Standing In The Shadows Of Love
  17. Martha And The Vandellas - Third Finger Left Hand Love this song.
  18. I’m not a fan of the umpire’s call decisions in cricket. If the ball is seen to be hitting the stumps then the batsman is out. The umpires have a difficult enough job to try and decide if the ball is going on to hit the wicket and mistakes will be made. However, the bowler should not be denied taking a wicket if the ball hits anywhere on the stumps/bails unless, of course, the ball is seen to be outside of the line. Back at the match, it looks like India are taking control with Pant charging along to a century, currently 94. Stokes is out on his feet and Jimmy is beginning to be knocked all round the ground in the 40C+ heat.
  19. Rod Stewart - I Don’t Want To Talk About It
  20. He should have been off loaded a while back. Swapping Daren Moor for the Hollywood Hills, he must be made up. Nice work if you can get it.
