  1. Unbeaten in 8, then we lose Dack. He should have to the end of the season. Who can replace him without Dacky and do any better?
  2. I won’t pass judgment until we see some play; it’s unconventional to say the least, but if Tony makes no changes (other than forced ones), some would say he’s stale, predictable, etc. The guy will get the back of the hand, no matter matter he does. He deserves some credit for 16 pts in the last 21, when most everyone was sizing up new managers by Boxing Day.
  3. Start Holtby. Evans stays in the 11. Get as many minutes as possible from DG and Downing; if they are knackered, Armstrong & Bennett. Not a great many other options. Tony may surprise us!
  4. Armstrong assisted DG’s goal... he’s sometimes useful, but remarkably inconsistent
  5. I’m really pumped about our squad and recent form. Even without Graham and/or Downing, a draw would be nice, a win would be cause for dancing in the streets. Time for Rovers to make history at Liberty Stadium!
  6. This team is rolling. Tony has it figured out, his personnel decisions have been so wise. Barring injury, the same 11.
  7. I have no problem with Evans, except we lose him at some point for YC accumulation.
  8. A well-won 3 points today, and 4 in the last 5. Good for team & Tony!
  9. This is our best lineup, imo, and proof that TM reads brfcs, LoL
  10. Our reasonably healthy squad, with 9 pts in the last 12, on the road vs a suddenly resurgent team with new manager. If it turns out, this is probably a good test for Rovers. We are in a much better place than we were two months ago, vs Luton. I have high expectations at Stoke.
  11. It seems as if some of you are more hip to see Mowbray sacked than a Rovers win. Give him the season. Superman isn’t out there, waiting for us to hire him. There is no one out there without a job that I would take over Mowbray right now. Anything can happen in sports; last night, my alma mater, Stephen F. Austin, beat #1 Duke at Cameron Indoor in hoops, where Blue Devils had not lost a non-conference game since 2000. Proud Lumberjack (1985 & 1987). Axe ‘em!
  12. If we win, we go top half of the table. That would be interesting; I can’t see the club firing a manager in the top half, and doing much better since he lost two of his best defenders vs QPR for extended periods.
