I won’t pass judgment until we see some play; it’s unconventional to say the least, but if Tony makes no changes (other than forced ones), some would say he’s stale, predictable, etc. The guy will get the back of the hand, no matter matter he does. Our reasonably healthy squad, with 9 pts in the last 12, on the road vs a suddenly resurgent team with new manager. If it turns out, this is probably a good test for Rovers. We are in a much better place than we were two months ago, vs Luton. I have high expectations at Stoke.

It seems as if some of you are more hip to see Mowbray sacked than a Rovers win. Give him the season. Superman isn’t out there, waiting for us to hire him. There is no one out there without a job that I would take over Mowbray right now. Anything can happen in sports; last night, my alma mater, Stephen F. Austin, beat #1 Duke at Cameron Indoor in hoops, where Blue Devils had not lost a non-conference game since 2000. Proud Lumberjack (1985 & 1987). Axe ‘em!

If we win, we go top half of the table. That would be interesting; I can’t see the club firing a manager in the top half, and doing much better since he lost two of his best defenders vs QPR for extended periods.
