  1. That is so fucking poor from Hedges and Gallagher. There is no excuse for being offside there
  2. FFS. Bringing on Wharton for the last 15 never fucking works….
  3. We are so far off it it’s borderline funny. Much more chance of getting relegated than finishing in the top half
  4. How do you know Kompany "seems to know what he's doing"? As far as I can see, in English football his only experience is winning Division 2 with about 50 times the cash of the rest of the league and getting pumped off City twice by naively trying to out play them....
  5. I can't understand how anyone could defend the idea of him coming back. Just need to listen to the audio once, imagine that was one of your female relatives being treated like that. It's disgusting, regardless of him not being prosecuted. Genuinely abhorrent. If he played for Rovers and management wanted to bring him back I'd be done with the club. Fair play to the United fans that will take that stance.
  6. I disagree, their style is all wrong for the overall quality of the squad. They’ll win some games playing nice stuff but they’ll get ruthlessly picked off in many more.
  7. They try to play like City despite having a 10th of the talent. Now they dont have the best team in the league they will struggle massively with their style, regardless of who they’re playing tonight.
  8. Can’t wait for the Kompany love in to end. Spent a shit ton of money to win a weak league last year. So naive to set up like this against City (just like in FA cup last year). They’ll be lucky to get 25 points playing like this.
  9. The whole circus around the PL goal record is such bollocks. Just an arbitrary time cut off of 1992 for most goals. League football was played for over 100 years before that… Kane making the right decision. I’m also thrilled at the prospect of him trying to speak German.
  10. I used to sit near him in the BBE - some wild tales of efforts to get to overseas friendlies. I have no idea how anyone can then just sack it off for another club.
  11. I don't know who is correct in the fat v injured debate but no one could look at Ennis (as he was on Saturday) and describe him as "lean". I don't think he has the sort of build that will ever allow him to look lean.
  12. I can't imagine we've spent £850k on a keeper to warm the bench this season, especially when we're essentially potless. Although this is Rovers so who knows...
  13. Tbf I wasn’t far off, he should have had 3… Thought he played really well overall. Unbelievably, he seemed to have much more physical presence than Gally
  14. Fuck me I wish transfer window was closed. Wharton is pure class. He’ll dominate this league this season
  15. Two really well taken goals. Really happy for the 2 scorers but think on the whole we haven’t been great. Travis put a superb shift in. Tronstad grown into the game, looks tidy as a DM but cant play an attacking ball to save his life. Get Wharton on and we’ll boss the rest of this game
  16. Bloody love Brad. Still think he’d do a job
  17. and our forward line is just about top 5 in League Two
  18. Not a chance that ours is the worst in the league. Anyway - looking forward to rocking my third shirt tomorrow - just hope I'm not accosted as a Putin supporter on the walk to the ground...
  19. I think our squad looks thin and destined for League One....Game of opinions isn't it. That said I am still looking forward to tomorrow and proper football being back.
  20. 3-0 Leonard hat-trick. Going to kick on and score 45 goals this year as we win the league by 25 points.
  21. I think that's a class third shirt - love Sammy's acting as well 😆
  22. We need someone on the ground at Brockhall to check JDT turns up for work today. Anyone got a bit of spare time?
  23. He did look well off it but in fairness pretty much everyone was shite and simply blowing out the cobwebs. Also didn't help that they had a couple of insane trialists putting in some very robust attempted "tackles"
  24. Difficult to say for me as a non-millionaire. For him though, he has enough money to be set for life already, so he’s in much more of a position to stick to his morals. Alas…
  25. Jordan Henderson, champion of LGBT causes…except when offered £700k a week…
