I don't understand this argument. How is getting paid substantially more to do your job "all that's wrong with modern football"? People need to realise, it's a job. A job I might add with a very short shelf life. Earn what you can and get out. Why would anyone begrudge someone earning double possibly triple what we could pay them? Whether he plays much or not is totally irrelevant.

Anyone not contracted to Rovers for next season shouldn't even be in the squad for these final 2 games. That includes people like Tosin, we desperately need to see what we have coming through given the presumed lack of funds this summer.

Can he do the second half in goal? Then he'll have officially played in every position for Rovers. The added bonus is he'll also probably be better than Walton...

We battered Wolves 5-1 (even big Lorenzo bagged on debut) in the sun on the opening day of the 2003 season. Thompson scored a good volley from edge of the area but not 35/40 yards out. Maybe mixing that day with another?!
