  1. Beck looks very nervous. Big call to chuck him into this regardless of Pickering injury
  2. Their “plan” better involve going straight back up otherwise they are in a world of pain. Leveraged to hilt on the basis of Premier League revenues
  3. You know you’ve hit rock bottom when Vale gets on the score sheet against you
  4. This is tragic. I hated when Mowbray used to give up in the cups before a ball was even kicked, be very pissed off as a County fan this evening
  5. Still singing about winning the league at Ewood I see 😂 Not “the” league is it, it’s the second division lads…
  6. Slightly late to the party but if Batth and McFadzean start together post February it’ll be a combined aged of 72…Have we ever fielded an older pair?
  7. Nothing to add re the transfer shit show but this is a superb reference amidst the angst 😂
  8. Hasn't won anything.... Let's see how many top tier clubs are scrambling to hire him shall we....
  9. Similar. If I was using the Gareth Bale “scale” it would be Rovers. Golf. England. In that order for me. I obviously want England to win but I’m not really particularly upset they’ve lost this evening. Doesn’t bother me. I do feel this allows me to be a bit more objective than others who see to live and breathe England… People can argue Southgate has done better than recent managers (which is factually correct I accept). However, that is through a mixture of chronic underachievement in the 00s, coupled with an incredibly easy run of draws over the last few tournaments. Southgate has proven time and time again he cannot get over the line in big games when it really matters. It’s time to move on and give a decent crop of players a run at the WC.
  10. Quality stuff from our captain… https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live/cp68zzx8x4rt?post=asset%3A15b5e97b-fcc7-410d-ab13-0899a35b3f40#post In the 181 minutes he played across both the Euro 2020 and 2024 finals, England captain Harry Kane had just one shot, one touch in the opposition box and had just 58 touches of the ball
  11. No other manager has had the criminally easy routes to finals he has. It’s ridiculous how lucky he’s got. Gets tactically out thought whenever we’re in a big game. Too many favourites and no ability to adapt
  12. Nah haven’t you heard? Kane is class. Scored three goals from a cumulative 20 yards and should be player of the tournament according to some on here
  13. A penalty, a tap in and a header from about 5 yards out? I’m sure another striker would’ve been on the end of those. He’s been a passenger all tournament
  14. Imagine how they’d look with a striker who can run…
  15. Kane is so far off the pace it’s unbelievable. Either injured or finished at the top level. Whichever it is, he’s a passenger
  16. What are you on about? They used to kick seven shades out of each other and weren’t allowed subs. By what metric is the physical aspect harder these days?
  17. Looks superb - definitely going to pick it up to rock for 5 a side. Some interesting attitudes on pink...it's 2024...
  18. Buzzing for Watkins, could see how much that meant to him.
  19. This is just depressingly familiar from Southgate in a high profile game. Decent start than just watches as the other team adapt and take control. Infuriating
  20. Shaw has the massive advantage of having an actual left foot
  21. That’s never a penalty in a million years 😂😂
  22. Said it the other day, either of these teams mullers whoever comes out the second semi.
