How do you know that there’s no priority placed on bringing a keeper in? ??♂️ -

Ahh the irony. So Venkys are £180m in and accused of not being willing to spend their money whilst some on here can’t find it in themselves to part with £25 for a match day ticket but apparently are ‘Rovers through and through’. And I’m talking ‘baloney’! Ok pal ???? -

As I’ve said a few times, there is ZERO pressure from Venkys on expenditure. The manager, staff and players ask and they get. The only problem is ffp....if it were upto Venkys they’d spend whatever it took to get up. They never curtailed spending at the beginning either. Shame SEM didn’t have any top players at the time ? -

I was thinking more around cash flow than a £5m new striker. You don’t think it’s a coincidence that the cash drops in last night and now we’re reportedly all go on the first new signing? -

Nope. I think it’s the one from the PL. potentially experienced and ready to hit the ground running. ps - there has to be some correlation in those £5.3m funds being transferred Yesterday and then a deal being done today...here we go!!! -

Why Joe. I can see your frustrations but I think it’s fairly obvious that we have targets and that we have bid and made offers which haven’t materialised yet. There’s a big difference between the above and last year when we ‘kept our powder dry’ deciding not to spend. I will feel disappointed too if we cannot get a couple in. But this January is quite obv different to last based on our motivation and desire to add players. -

Excellent. Keep the good news coming mate. Good player? -
Miserable run? Give me a break mate. We haven’t lost at home for FOUR months.
-
Must be. Looked absolutely bollocksed. Couldn’t run. Mental
-
Nah, fans should be embarrassed that they can’t turn up with their team coming off the back of a 5-0 away win. Even the flakey ones! ?
-
Very good performance overall. Fluent and attacking in the first half. Lost that fluency in the second half but dug in and managed the game perfectly. Limited a decent QPR to just one chance in the game. Tosin, Travis, Arma, Nyambe and Rothwell were fantastic. The rest were decent (7’s) apart from Benno who for some reason looked like he’d played 5 games in 3 days. I’ve never seen him look so shattered.
-
Done his hamstring. Hopefully not too bad
-
Tbh, you haven’t got a clue if cancelling the red button didn’t improve things. How do you know they haven’t sold 1500 tickets since that announcement? More importantly, second lowest crowd of the season the game after we won 5-0 away. Embarrassing.
-
We can’t refuse all games. Just those which were originally scheduled for the weekend and have been moved to mid week. @perthblue02 is right. We get literally nothing extra and it’s been widely reported how gates have been negatively effected. Piss take really, especially when you consider the FfP restrictions being imposed. Almost as if there’s a drive by the elite to protect their positions...?
-
That is a shame. Sorry to hear it mate and I hope he feels better soon.
-
Yes mate. All true. But I know quite a few who went in the 90’s and now post pictures at the Etihad and Anfield with blue or red scarfs wrapped round their necks.
-
I take your point in getting out of the habit. Maybe the reality is that the glamour of the PL and glory enticed those extra fans and they’re never coming back. Pretty sure our gates pre Jack Walker were similar to today’s. Huddersfields model is based on parachute payments to weigh off the difference. We don’t have that luxury.

The ST’s were frozen for years and never picked up. It shouldn’t matter ‘what Is being served up’ to a teams supporters. Thick and thin.
-
There was a point a couple of years ago that our tickets were as cheap if not cheaper than anywhere else. It didn’t entice the floaters. £30+ to watch Rovers is wrong on so many levels but slashing prices won’t bring back the fans we’ve lost.
