  1. Where in this post do I say or suggest that you should continue going if you can’t stand Mowbray? I say if you have “specific reasons (financial or personal)” then fair enough… I think the fact that certain posters have jumped on this so defensively assuming I’m referring to Mowbray says much more about those individuals and the questions they’re asking themselves.
  2. Argh man…get back to playing with your crayons. * muted
  3. Yeah, personal reasons, the guy made my skin crawl! You seem very defensive about this as if it was directed at you? It genuinely wasn't…I couldn’t care less if you (personally) go to the match or not. Your call 👍🏼
  4. Yeah, hence why I said ‘due to financial or personal reasons’ ….there were some personal reasons for me not liking him. The point of my post was that unless there’s something really preventing us (I even went religiously during Kean’s reign) then get down to the ground and support the team.
  5. It shouldn’t matter if we were favourites for relegation. IMHO a fan is welcome to their opinion on any part of the club. Complain all we like but as ‘supporters’ we support the club by turning up…there’s a few with specific reasons (financial / personal)…fair enough. The rest need to stop bleeting, get their hands in their pockets and get down to Ewood! 👍🏼
  6. I think he’s £30m if he has 2+ years left on his contract. £20m all day with a year on his contract imo...like the part ex idea and can see that it will work with the likes of Norwich etc who will want some off the books
  7. I have to say that I’d take a punt on Arma for £20-25m if I were a lower Prem / just promoted club. He’s young, English, scores lots of different types of goals, is quick and rarely injured. I think he’s a cracking option for the clubs linked to play on the left side of a forward 3.
  8. I can’t remember him standing out in either game last season...but as we know, if all else fails, let’s sign a centre midfielder eh!? 🤣🤣
  9. Yeah and because you ain’t heard anything, then there’s nowt happening...right?
  10. Still think he’ll go and that the manager they have in their mind is in a job already...which I’m guessing is the most likely reason for delay.
  11. I agree with @JohnGo we need the next Valerian Ismail or a Chris Wilder type rather than a Mick McCarthy of Neil Warnock. We need fresh blood and to over achieve on a mid table budget. Im still curious to see who they’ve got lined up 👀
  12. Don’t get tetchy. I offered my explanation for Coyle without any prompt or necessity. I’m just pointing out that I don’t factor whether we play good football in my reasoning for not going. So, until Tony gets me feeling like Coyle did, I will be going. What you do / feel is your business 👍🏼
  13. I watch out for good football on the TV. I watch Rovers because it’s in my blood.
  14. I don’t support Rovers to watch great football OR because I love Venkys (I don’t btw) 🤣🤣🤣 The only time in my life I stopped watching was under Coyle. There was something about him that made my skin crawl. Made me feel like I needed a shower after I’d listened to one of his interviews....I’m not at that stage (yet) so I’ll be there, cheering my club on!
  15. I think a lot of Mowbrays comments would lead you to believe that he might walk...
  16. Mine wasn’t as clear as that @Mercer...around 4weeks ago I know they put a freeze on expenditure (staff appointments etc) and the reasoning was that a change was expected and the manager they had lined up was already in a job.
  17. Tbf, things can change at any time and the final decision is V’s...but as far as I know the feeling is still that there will be a change. The longer it goes the less likely it will happen. I can tell you summat, IF they stay on, then they’ve pulled a blinder because no one within the group thought they would! 🙈
  18. All I know is that spending had been halted a couple of weeks ago and ‘they’ very much believed that a change was imminent.
  19. I think that article in the LT about “fighting for the cause” looks more like a rallying call of a man under pressure!
  20. God knows what they’ll do or when they’ll do it...
