  1. So so poor. How can even Mowbray find a spin on this? Horrible
  2. Pahahahah I think these are on the company payroll. WEVE BEEN FUCKIN AWFUL LADS!!
  3. These two on iFollow are smoking summat.... ”I think we’ve started well and have been the better side” ehhhhh!!? Wtf 🤣🤣🤣
  4. I agree with you. This constant moving the goalposts is disingenuous to say the least. I personally wouldn’t have told the fans to ‘judge me after 3 windows’ nor would I have targeted the playoffs this season but having done so, he can’t simply ignore that he’s had 7 or 8 windows and then wipe out 3yrs claiming here “28 games into a journey” Fuck off Tony mate!
  5. Nyambe isn’t great. He’ll sign an extension...you watch!
  6. I think you’re right re tonight. When was the last time we played well? Serious question....we were playing well at the beginning of the season. Even a couple of the losses like Watford and Bournemouth were excellent performances...but I genuinely can’t remember the last time we actually played well...Preston away?
  7. It reads very condescending but thanks for explaining it isn’t. Mate, I’ve kept my powder dry for many months but WOW!! He can’t just write off 3yrs to make it fit his rhetoric like that...surely the powers that be feel the same!?
  8. The LT article this morning is absolutely flabbergasting. Is he REALLY suggesting that we’re only 28 games into this ‘Journey’....fuck me, I’ve heard it all now! 🙈
  9. Nope. Hate to burst your bubble but I’ve never really rated him. 15 months ago I said that i knew the club rated him as the best young player they had. They had fielded enquiries from PL clubs for him and there were two PL clubs there in the lounge who were at the match to watch him. The numbers being handed about in terms of what it would take to get him was “8 figures” (direct quote). At the time Buckley hadn’t played much at all in the first team and so I didn’t get it and basically passed on the info. In fairness, since that day my info has been proven right in terms of what they think about him as he is the most used player of any from the u23’s and they compliment him at every opportunity. I still haven’t seen in him what they do but that’s the reality of this matter.
  10. Not good enough again. We don’t have any coherence as a team which is astounding considering Mowbrays been with us for 4yrs. Time for a change I think. No realistic chance of the top 6 now unless we do something that no Mowbray team ever has and that’s win consistently.
  11. Much the better team for most of the game but you have to put these teams away. Yes they got a scruffy goal but we should’ve had enough to turn it round. Just not good enough.
  12. Big 30 mins this. We’ve played ok and don’t deserve to lose but teams who go up manage to turn these games round
  13. I’d go with this team in a 4411 but start with Rothwell on the left in place of BB, Elliott on the right and Dack in behind Arma.
  14. Cracking post, thank you. If we move to three at the back this season I’d play Nyambe or THB at RCB and JRC as RWB. Nyambe Lenihan JB JRC Trav. Davenport Douglas Dack Rothwell Arma Subs - Pears, THB, Bell, Johnson, Trybull, Holtby, BB, Dolan & Gally
  15. I don’t come on here to have anyone follow me. I come in here to give my opinion and that has never been that Mowbray was the messiah. He said the target was top 6, so my target is top 6. Sure I enjoyed the early season games (didn’t you? Would make sense I suppose) and sure I said the way we were playing could get us in the top 2. But ultimately the target is top 6. I do love how you believe you’re SO awake to this whilst the rest of us are sleep. The only person making an ass out of them self is the one blaming the manager for bad signings and then giving credit to the recruitment team for good ones... As for the last paragraph....🤣🤣🤣 if only you knew! 😬 #awkward
  16. awww...you're upset by the tip toeing comment? My stance never changes. Ever. If we don’t get in the top 6 then he has failed and my feeling is that he has to go. That’s it. No tip toeing, no crying and certainly no back tracking...at the end of December we were probably a couple of results away from being out of the top 6 race completely and I felt that we may need a change purely because I didn’t think he would be able to meet his goal. He’s proved me wrong...so far. In terms of Mowbray praising his recruitment team. THATS WHAT LEADERS DO! 🙈....the buck stops with the manager mate. The end. We all know that. So either you’re completely behind the door when it comes to football, life and leadership, or you’re tip toeing yourself into a position where you can still beat the manager mercilessly in spite of some really good signings because “he never signed em anyway”. I would suggest it’s the latter 😉 Next you’ll be telling us it was you / the fans who saw the potential in Trav and Mowbray would never have picked him!! 🤣🤣...ohhh wait...😬
  17. 🤣🤣 please refer to my point last week about the manager not being able to win. It’s as simple as this surely. Either, the buck stops with the manager or it doesn’t. I’m pretty sure Sir Alex Ferguson didn’t find Ronaldo, nor did he recommend Barthez...but he took the plaudits AND criticisms for both. The responsibility of signing and playing players to create a winning side is the managers. If the players are terrible then it’s the managers fault...clubs don’t sack recruiters they sack managers. Im sorry, but you cannot have this both ways. Whichever way you paint it, that’s exactly what you’re trying to do in a tip toe typa way!!
  18. I’m completely happy to share the plaudits. The question is, if it goes wrong, are people willing to share the criticism?
  19. He addressed this in his interview yesterday. Has told THB that there’s 7 games in Feb and the current first 11 can’t play all those games so he’ll get a chance and it’s up to him to keep the shirt.
  20. All true but it was Mowbrays vision on setting up the scouting / recruitment networks. It’s the fruits of their labour but the failure AND success must fall on his head. However, the deals for Elliott, THB and JB are very much driven by the manager and his growing reputation (rightly or wrongly) as someone who develops young players. We can’t have it both ways mate. He’s either 100% responsible, or he’s not.
  21. He won’t sit on our bench for long and so long as you play them all based on merit then you could end up with any combination. Matbe City have decided that even 10 games in the champ is better than zero games at City?
  22. I wasn’t pointing it out to the staff at the club mate, my intended audience was those fans on here who are confused as to why we’d need another CB...
