Maybe. Unclear on profit share also. But the point still stands imo. You’re either in or your out. Don’t complain about the owners not pumping in another £20m and then refuse to pay £5.99 to watch your own team play. Makes no sense. -
Exactly. I’m not saying SG and BB are good enough. I’m just saying that having spent the cash on them they need a period of time playing to justify the fees. The manager will live or die by on those signings imo. Said it for a while now..

Ahhh...I said “etc”, as in young players in general coming through the ranks. You just let your personal opinion on Buckley (vs mine) drive your answer. ? So moving that aside ‘Sparky’ you’ve not heard of / seen fans asking for the manager to play / give chances to our young lads? Surely we’d always want our top academy talent backing up the first team as oppose to the Smallwood, Hart, Samuels of this world? ??♂️

This really grinds on me. How can a supporter of a club not want to pay £5.99 to watch their team play and yet believe that they have a god given right to judge anyone and everything at the club? We all want new players at the club. We all accept that COVid has stripped cash out of our club. We all judge the owners on what they “should” be spending. Yet we take no responsibility for actually ‘supporting’ the club other than pass opinion? I just don’t get it. -
Sharpe is the one to listen to. He doesn’t involve himself or the LET in wild speculation and so when he hangs his hat on anything (or at least doesn’t squash it) then it’s safe to say it’s got ‘some’ legs... Imo his report on Sunday was very encouraging. 2 keepers is self explanatory but 2 cbs with Mulgrew and Williams BOTH going is new info. Going on to say that we are looking at 2 perm and 1 temp from England and accepting the Lindsay and Kipre links is also very encouraging. Also confirmed we’re on for a lb and midfielder which covers two obvious gaps especially with Downing unlikely to sign. Im not sure why people are switching their ‘worries’ to the loss of Hart, Smallwood and Samuel who were very much surplus. Graham is more understandable but ultimately, as many on here love to remind us, we have spent £12m on Gally and BB, two young players who need to be given an opportunity to come to the fore. Likewise, there’s been a clamour for the manager to clear the way for JRC, Buckley, Butterworth etc...which is what is happening. The big question is can they deliver this?

Sellars was CLASS!! Loved him
-
Prob lost patience with him in terms of fitness. Contrary to others on here I think he’s a decent back up CB but no use if he’s always injured.
-
I’m absolutely fine with your opinion. It’s you who seems affronted because I don’t share yours
-
On a separate note, must be a few happy campers. Sharpe reckons Mulgrew AND Williams going. So we’re targeting two cbs...
-
I’m pretty sure that you don’t / haven’t coached him for the last 5-10yrs unless it’s you Jonty!? ??? Like I said, i appreciate your opinion but for now I’ll go with my own options on this one ??
-
Sound. Like I’ve said, I’ll sway to the opinions of people who do this for a living. ??
-
Bang on. RAVE
-
Thanks for your opinion pal. But I think I’ll go with the opinions of people who’ve been in the game all their life, the ones who work with him every day and those working for Premier League clubs who watch him regularly and are hugely impressed with him. ??
-
I’m not sure...I just saw a report saying they wanted £5m
-
If there’s £10m on the table I think it’ll be for AA and the links to Hoffman are Rovers sounding out possible replacements for him. His fee is reportedly €5m.

I think Armstrong is good off the left cutting in and I think Dack can play the false 9 with the right, footballing midfield behind him. I do like the look of Davenport and I think we will be able to control games with him on the pitch as he recycles the ball so well. Get Whiteman in next to him and Trav and I think we’d get Dack right in the game. The worry for me is the right side of the front 3. Gally isn’t the answer but I think BB has potential to pick up the ball deep and run at players. Maybe Chapman can be the answer.? The real excitement this season will be to see how good the likes of Butterworth, JRC and Vale can be in those positions. Either way, I wouldn’t be signing another forward unless I was offloading one of Dack, AA, BB or Gally. I count 8 for three spots there...5 first team and 3 academy grads. Plenty of options!

Maybe I just want him to do well so badly. But I think he’s hugely improved since returning from Lockdown. I like JRC too. He could easily play as one of the front 3 -

Just watched it through...think we’re definitely going 433. Some decent performances. Best of the bunch were Davenport, Chapman, Wharton and Dolan. I actually thought BB lead the line quite well too. -
Wtf?
-
That’s the way I think we’re heading though with a 433!
-
He has to start playing BB and Gally more. Maybe he’ll add Chapman more too...then you 5 for 3 positions up top (inc Dack and AA) before you begin to blood the likes of Butterworth and Vale....they’ll be looking for 10 each from Gally and BB and 15 a piece from Dack and AA. Not saying they’ll get them but that will be the aim imo
-
At this stage I’d agree. Be great if it was right though...
-
Seems a bit antagonistic...?
-
He won’t play out and out wingers. Never has...will be 3 out of Arma, Dack, Gally, BB, Schmidt?, Holtby. Rothwell, Chapman, Vale, Butterworth
-
This would be good... kaminski - Perm fee Ohara - Free kipre - perm fee Cunningham - Loan to perm Schmidt - Loan to perm Whiteman - Perm fee
