None who’ve slid into admin. Which is exactly where we’re going the day those arse holes leave.
-
Sound. That’s your opinion and I have mine.
-
Wow, I’ve categorically said that I am not in any way in favour of Venkys or what they’ve done to our club. Your attitude to the ticket situation is sad. If you don’t see the problem with someone playing the martyr whilst getting in on free tickets then the cap obv does fit you sir. SW couldn’t save either of you it would seem. FYI - As you asked. I’ve had a season ticket most years since 1993. I could’ve watched most home games for free during that time. But Iv always felt a responsibility to do my bit. To contribute.
-
Argh it’s a ridiculous argument Isn’t it. No one in their right mind would take us on. Go and ask Wigan, Bury and Bolton fans if they’d take Venkys over what they’ve suffered. They’d snap your hand off.
-
Wherever the cap fits mate. I saw a guy At the fans forum proudly announce to our manager and CEO that he was a boycotter (wore the title like a badge of honour) - then admitted that he goes to every game on complimentary tickets. SW looked like he wanted to knock him out. I threw up a little in my mouth.

Haha it literally is the primary job of the supporter to attend matches and roar on (support) their team. Of course there are those who cannot attend for a multitude of reasons like they cannot afford it, are working, family etc. But when you boil it all down to what a supporter is...going to the match and supporting your team is your no.1 job.
-
No one is beIng vocally supportive of them. But the FACT of the matter is that they do still put £7-8m (MILLION) of their own money into the club every year in spite of no obvious longstanding love for our club whilst some “Supporters” sit at home, refusing do the primary job of being a supporter - to support their club by putting their hand in their pockets to buy a ticket. In spite of them having the means and ability to do go to the match. Often caveat *”I’m not lining Venkys pockets” - You’re not pal, they’re picking up the clubs debt every year and if we’d all turn up, pay for a ticket then our ability to trade players would be increased via income and the ffp system. The irony of this is breathtaking.
-
Call em whatever we like. They’re still ploughing £7-8m a season in where we have so called ‘supporters’ who still can’t bring themselves to pay for a ticket. Amazing the amount of people who slaughter Venkys for apparently not spending whilst cadging comp tickets every week! ???

Says more about the Brentford fans than David Raya. Any Rovers fan watching that last night re-lived the period Raya was our keeper.
-
I think that’s fair. Not by much but yeah...maybe.
-
But we didn’t have no one...or at least I don’t remember starting a league game without a keeper in goal? Moreover whether you like it or not, the new incumbent had more clean sheets than his predecessor, Raya. The truth is, the post about Raya isn’t about Walton, or us. It’s about Raya and ‘that’ goal last night giving me a flashback to the time he was here when he would make a world class save before promptly handing the opposition a goal out of nothing. David Raya - from the sublime to the ridiculous.
-
I don’t know mate. I thought we signed two didn’t we? But either way, that line is as boring tonight as it was last night and the night before that etc ??

Standard Raya - Sublime to the ridiculous
-
A grip of what? Your obsession with what’s gone before over what’s happening right now? No thanks ??
-
Yep, let’s assume that all these fully grown men are lying. Makes sense ?? Edit - Tbf at least you’ve been honest enough to admit that you think the posters are lying though.
-
Ahhh yeah. Great argument. Not! Not even true that btw. We’ve signed a number of players from June to the last day since Venkys came in. But let’s not let the truth get in the way of a good story hey?
-
There’s people on here who have provided first hand info that we do have a budget and are making moves. So either you’re saying those people are lying, you’ve been lay under a rock for the last week or you’re on the wind up? Which is it?
-
I’ll be paying for my ticket come what may. The club needs its supporters to do their one main job more than ever.
-
Crap is harsh, I agree. Not quite good enough is more likely. Would be absolutely delighted to be proven wrong on him.
-
Tbf I’m not saying I think Wharton is crap. I haven’t seen enough of him or heard enough about him. I just see that every season the manager specifically talks about him, openly says he wants to review him and then he ends up back on loan. No one above league 2 has ever taken him yet which says where his game is. I hope he flies into preseason, convinces the manager he’s the man and becomes another Lenihan, Nyambe or Travis. But I just can’t see it...
-
I think Tosin and Cunningham are a shoe in to come back. Two young keepers and spend £2m on Whiteman. Let’s see..
-
Of course there’s money!! There always is with Venkys. My worry, based on what I’ve heard and now the Whiteman update is that we’re scratching around for two keepers on loan and a freebie defence just so we can pay Whitemans fee ?
-
Maybe the CB’s already sorted Chaddy...
-
Cheers ??
