  1. I’m sorry, I was rude to you the other day. I apologise. What was the question again?
  2. These were all English based mate. All young Keepers from PL. But would defo want to be number 1’s....which means, yes. It looks like we are about to loan another number 1! *reaches for tin hat and awaits nuclear explosion.
  3. Gotta get a top LB and Keeper too. Completely agree
  4. Haha - As IF I’m blowing up 20yrs of friendships to have you absolutely trash me and then see every two bit hack out there be asked the same question on twitter by people on here? I have trusted a few on here who have been brilliant. I’ve even given some bits when safe to and asked them to post it so I’m well clear of the bullshit. They know the script. I don’t know why you constantly question me as if I’d / anyone would lie. FFS the last time @K-Hod bumped into me in a pub I was sat with our former club captain of 10yrs!! ?? Ask him if you like!
  5. I agree completely. To be clear my point wasn’t that we’ll be signing all these players just that contrary to some different opinions on here, I’m sure now that we’re very actively trying (right now) to get stuff done. Its not the case that everyone’s nobbed off to Dubai and isn’t bothered. ??
  6. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18614911.one-one-follow-rovers-face-defensive-re-shuffle/ Seems to give the impression that Tosin coming back is at the top of their agenda. Maybe gone back to sign a longer deal with City then come back?
  7. What you don’t realise pal is how unlikely anyone is to come on here with any ‘info’ if they’ve made it up. This place (BRFCs) rarely takes kindly to any actual info (weirdly) Eg your trashing of the links to players over the last few days as ‘Silly season’ in spite of the fact that you don’t actually know anything yourself. How do you think that makes the posters of that info feel in terms of wanting to stick their neck out again? My guess is that there are several people in this network who know a lot about what is going on but cannot be bothered to take the stick that comes with it. I appreciate that I put myself up there to be shot at with my opinions and I gladly take my punishment. ??
  8. Relax mate. Not everything is a serious debate. I was hoping that someone may have watched it and had the same experience tbh. A realisation of what it is that we could be...but likely never will (because of all the things you mentioned)
  9. There’s a lot more chatter now. It’s from the clubs / players we’ve been approaching. Im not blown over with the names but I haven’t seen most of them play. Before anyone asks, I’m not going to say who they are as I can’t see any links between us and them in the media and stuff in here is very open, ends up on Twitter etc. I wouldn’t wanna betray anyone’s trust. Im just saying that now, I’m pretty sure that we are VERY busy trying to get deals done.
  10. I was just making an observation that whilst watching the match last night I finally saw what that formation / set up can be. Iv watched us try to play it to no avail time and time again and have never been able to visualise what it would look like...so it was eye opening to see it in full flow. I wasn’t judging the clubs ability to achieve it. Just making a passing comment, a light hearted comment.
  11. I don’t know pal...I just watched a game of football and saw exactly what he is trying to create in all its glory. Iv never seen it play out like that before positionally. The model we have is very different because we’ve retained and rely on our youth set up as well as the points you made. But now I’ve seen it I can see why they’re so enamoured with it too. Sell your best player every summer and buy a few unknowns out of your foreign network of scouts and ya-daaa ? I have to say though, the best investment they made was in Janson and Pinnock along with Raya who’s better than Bentley. Did make me think how important it is that we really strengthen at the back. I have a really strong feeling that we’ll end up with a loaned number 1 (along with a brfcs meltdown). Lets see!
  12. Watching Brentford last night was like seeing a premonition of how Tony wants rovers to play. The 433 with wide forwards. Especially later in the second half when they swapped Benrahma and Watkins and Benrahma played as a false 9. Interestingly, I still don’t really see how Dack fits into that system long term. I think they’re squeezing him out...
  13. They’ve gone for a weeks holiday lads that’s ok. I’m sure there’s plenty going on. ???
  14. No point anyone blustering about Dack. He’s effectively got a two year contract outstanding. There’s no way we won’t trigger it.
  15. That’s the thing bud. I don’t have any fascination with him. I’ve said time and time again that I haven’t seen in him anything like what they do. There’s a few posters on here who seem to share their views but honestly, the coaching staff genuinely believe he’s the one. The two clubs are northwest PL clubs and they’ve been monitoring him very closely for over a year. When I said the thing about him being bought for eight figures it’s because at that time he’d played a couple of games and thought he might kick on. I was sat with a friend who’s in football and was looking at a player (not one of ours). We got talking to the scout watching Buckley and he was adamant that they’d be looking to bid for him at Christmas and were willing to spend upto £10m. I was blown away tbh. I know they love him at the club but still...
  16. Hasn’t grown or played enough yet Bruce. But I can tell you with even more certainty than Sparks did about Whiteman, that the two clubs who have been monitoring and making contact about him will not even flinch at spending 8 figures on him. He’s the “chosen one”...not my words!
  17. But do you think anyone would spend that money on him having been injured for so long? I suppose if they want him badly enough. At £10m he’s potentially worth the gamble...
