  1. Seems to be a hughes tactic in putting Mokoena on the bench instead to allow him to have more attacking options, as he could potentially play in Midfield to tighten things up, or accross the defence. He did the same with Zurab not being on the bench whilst Todd was back in the side.
  2. In short, YES
  3. May yet happen. 1-0 to Arsenal now, Fabregas. EDIT 2-0 after 69 minutes.. if they play like this for the rest of the season then we have no chance of 4th. BUT will they be saving their best for this seasons Champs League.
  4. I can see most of the weekends results heading in our favour but then letting the pie eaters get within 3 points of us by losing 2-1. Then again, thats the sort of thing I've come to expect after the last 4 seasons at home, this team appear to be able to prove most of us wrong.
  5. Meanwhile, 100's of contractors have been laid off, apparently as they dont have the money to pay them. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/4853566.stm
  6. Also discussed http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f93/trouble-20513-2.html They dont seem to believe that any stanley fans were involved -
  7. What do you want, a medal ?, the Fan of the year award ?? Its a bloody internet messageboard where Rovers fans from anywhere can get together and discuss Rovers. Not a competition to prove one fan does more than any other.
  8. Sorry Hughesy, I find your argument to be utter @#/?. It was yourself who was stating that you had a decent job on here and owned 2 houses you were looking to sell on ? CLICK HERE Fact is you just want the rest of us to subsidise you, and there are far far more deserving cases than yourself.
  9. Because Newcastle cannot show it on dodgy sky and have to pay for a "beam back". For the sake of a few fans in Blues Bar, I cannot see them recouping even a tenth of what that would cost.
  10. Details sort of announced on the official site in that they havent announced the pricing from May onwards yet, but this also applies to new season ticket holders and not just renewals. Anybody who chooses to wait a few months to see what happens shouldnt complain if they get caught by a price hike, but my guess is that the final pricing may well depend on the success of the early bird scheme.
  11. I havent bought the program, and obviously missed it on the boards today, but if true its a great move by the club and should be applauded.
  12. Paul Gallagher scored the only goal of the game today for Stoke..... against the Dingles
  13. We have an awful record against Boro in the Premier League at Ewood, with only a couple of 1-0 wins to show for it. This will probably be a tough game, and I'll take Rovers to get another 1-0 win with Bellamy scoring a late goal as Boro tire after their midweek exploits.
  14. You arent going to get your money back from your season ticket for that game though so its no loss to the club. Come renewal time though, people will remember the fixtures being messed around ALL season. Fact is that Rovers were left with no option but to move the game, but again have communicated things badly to our fans.
  15. Confirmed on the Liverpool site. Nice to see Rovers consulting their fans though.
  16. adding poll
  17. Simple Kris. Contact the club once the decision has been made, and get them to sort out some form of compensation. Whether or not Liverpool eventually pay it or we get Pongo for nothing instead, is Rovers problem. The game WILL move, of that i'm sure. Hopefully Rovers will announce their intentions quickly, but with Police, SKY and the FA to contend with, I amagine it wont be that simple.
  18. Oh Great. So any Rovers season ticket holder who may have made arrangements for the rest of the weekend will now lose out. I can see perfectly good reasons as to why the game should never have been played on that date at all, but given all the messing around with the fixtures is it any wonder attendances are down.
  19. We play on Wednesday the 19th for some strange reason.
  20. No, it isnt now, because their Chief Exec has done a good job of passing the buck to us. IMO Rover club should look after its season ticket holders who may well have made plans for the rest of the weekend given the previously confirmed date, and also consider those who took this date as being a confirmation and booked travel. If LFC want to move the date that badly, the least they can do is cover those expenses. Of course Sky will probably come to the rescue and ask for a Sunday game anyway now giving us no choice in the matter.
  21. I would suggest you read it, rather than doing what I do and just bloody filling the form in and sending it back. It definitely mentioned the savings last year
  22. Perhaps also the Liverpool fans who want this date changing would consider paying the expenses of the Blackburn fans who would be inconvenienced by a change of date at this stage. I would doubt it though.
  23. Typical bloody scousers. Trying now to put it the ball in Rovers court. If Rovers are going to comply, then something had better be done quickly.
  24. http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=112677.0
  25. A very intelligent and reasoned argument which answers all the points in Daves post above. Is missing from that post.
