  1. How about the Blackburn End Drummer.
  2. Up fer ps2. Suggest a small League if we dont get too many entries.
  3. A little optimistic to expect that level of intelligence , but there is an ex-drummer on this board. The pathetic attempt to put the keepers off at goal kicks is just downright embarrassing, isn't the point to improve atmosphere rather than make the club look silly.
  4. Typical armchair supporter As it appears I wll be, as I cant be bothered with all this now, but you never know I might get lucky and get Angola V Portugal.
  5. It means turn cookies on, and use the browser back button to return to previous page
  6. I think Mickeys had a decent season so far. Ok theres been a couple of ropey performances recently, but given that the alternative is Dominic Matteo, I'll stick with Gray.
  7. Yes, even that. And you should know better given you've been involved in websites in the past.
  8. Because the BBC Boards are not moderated. This is.
  9. I've deleted a few posts from here discussing this for that reason. Lets just leave it at the rumours of the NOTW trying to undermine Englands World Cup chances. Perhaps Jim could shed some light on their motives, being Murdochs bitch and all.
  10. I know what you mean, but the feeling of sheer relief when that final whistle went made up for it. Its this sort of games, where your feelings range from being as good as it gets (4-1 up) to the feelings of desperation when you are recalling West Ham at home circa 1987 and almost throwing it away (4-3, 2 in no time at all). Personally, I LOVED yesterdays game, its the first time in ages that at Ewood, I've had the buzz for football. It reminds me why I got hooked in the first place, and I don't know how the players felt, but the adrenaline and stress watching us perform superbly for the last 25 minutes meant I could hardly speak and was just simply buzzing. If Rovers ever want to know how to get fans back to Ewood, its having games like that. Shame we didnt fill the ground, as i'd hope many of those fans would be buying Arsenal tickets on the back of it. (P.S Good move from the club advertising the no booking fee internet sales straight after) Ooops.. forgot to say - cheeRIO cheeRIO cheerRIO. No matter what else went on in that game, Rio aka Plug had a shocker.
  11. Theres only one person likely to get Banned here pal. I may disagree completely with Jans opinions, but she is certainly a Rovers fan (if not a Souness fan), and has the right to air her opinions on here. After the consistent links to streaming sites, and the insults here, i'm not sure how many warnings are left you have left.
  12. At this time, but at the end of the season when the Sky cash is paid, Owen goes back to Liverpool, Luque is sent back to Spain etc etc they will have. Still if the "any team in the champs league2 clause is true, theres no danger of that being invoked. Heck the best way to keep bellamy is to sneak in ourselves.
  13. So Dan Furness could well have been telling the truth when he said the guy who owned the company was having a beer with him ???
  14. ... be 4 points away from the Champs League with a game in hand ??? Its games like this which will get the fans on Ewood.
  15. Wasnt Robbie Williams voted best artist of the Millenium ? dont ITV have at least one program a week where f***wits can text in a vote for which Soapstar is less @#/? than the rest at Ice Dancing. ? Whatever you get via text does not mean its the best, but like all text votes, it just fits the in with the 15 year old girls who will vote 160 times because they just love the silver thing. Or because its on Carrots Mad and they think its funny to vote for the worst looking one of the lot, much like many messageboards encouraged people to vote for Man City to name a stand the Bell End ffs.
  16. I cant vote for any shirt that puts the badge in the MIDDLE. The Rovers badge should always be "over the heart". (EDIT - seen the disclaimer) I've seen the shirts at a fans forum, and tbqh theres not much difference in the home shirts. The mock ups dont seem to show the side panelling to well for the first 2. The middle away shirt seems to look a lot better as a mock up, and the first away shirt looks like a Sweden shirt (and we are always crap in yellow) I prefer 3 for both. Having it as a text vote means that it will be predominantly voted on by 15 year old girls though, so expect the worst.
  17. Just been confirmed on BBC News headlines.
  18. Its also @#/?, as didn't he play 10 minutes against Newcastle at home this season before limping off ?
  19. I think thats a very valid point, but as BRISA is still developing, so are many of its ideas. That said, football is expensive, and the powers that be need to see that many of its supporters have price as their primary concern. It may be the reason that fans are driven away, but discounting the tickets doesnt seem to attract them back. I'm sure that many of the points in the document will be addressed by the club by saying "we already do that". Many of these points will already have been brought up through other avenues, and will have been ruled out, but if we can just get 1 or 2 ideas such as flextickets to stick then thats a start.
  20. If nothing else, Hughes will get that part right. The difference in preparation and attitude from 18 months ago is immense. Hopefully our fans may start to notice that and start coming back. Hopefully it wont get moved for TV.
  21. Going over on the 8th, In Cologne for a couple of nights, Frankfurt for the Paraguay game, and flying back on the 14th. Applied for a few tickets, hopefully will get the England v Paraguay game and Australia v Japan.
  22. We were not poor, but just did what we needed to to win it. The game was just too comfortable, it was like a preseason friendly in the first half, and in the second QPR tried to have a go at us. We never really needed to step up a gear. The gulf in class was all to apparent in this game, but there were few premier league sides in this round who managed to show that.
  23. Beresford saved a Cisse penalty which was awarded in dodgy circumstances. And then only gives the Liverpool keeper a yellow for their Penalty when last man. 3-1 !!
