Have to agree. The slow building process is just to try and keep pressure off himself. I’ve never watched this Goode play but to just rule players out based on stats seems daft. Two centre halves can be totally different players & can bring different things to a team.

I personally think Lenihan gets off lightly with some of our fans, probably because of who he’s been partnered with for the majority. Great header of the ball but I think his overall reading of the game is quite average.

I just feel like he overthinks some of the recruitment instead of going for sensible ones. I can see him targeting a keeper who’s better playing out from the back than he is with his actual hands.
