  1. Holtby on the bench. Rothwell injured? Evans and Armstrong on the pitch. Travis / Johnson didn’t last long.
  2. He has travelled. Doesn’t necessarily mean he’s in the squad, a la Cunningham. Would be a revelatory moment if his name is anywhere on the team sheet, though ? Reckon he’ll start his playing time at home against Luton. But you’d love to see an early start if he’s fit, which he supposedly is, moreso than most of our players....???
  3. A few weeks ago I would have agreed with you. But he has improved the last couple games. Would still prefer to see Nyambe developing on the pitch, though...
  4. Dack and Holtby the other way round and we could be on to a winner.
  5. Whatever we were playing which saw Buckley alongside Dack - that could be interesting. Dack Centre-Right, Holtby Centre-Left. Or Right Back.
  6. Warnock's in the back seat, catching a ride from Cornwall.
  7. Took a friend of mine at 34 earlier this year. From seemingly perfectly normal to gone in a couple of months. Unbelievably, unfathomably cruel disease.
  8. Mowbray has just said it himself. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/september/tony-on-rothwell-influence/
  9. If anyone was next to Dack I would have expected Rothwell not not a left winger. But I should never expect Rothwell.
  10. Gallagher, Armstrong, Downing, Buckley, Rothwell, Brereton, Dack, Bennett and even Danny Graham have all played on the right wing so far this season, through starting, substitution or experimentation. We'll probably see Samuel, Rankin-Costello & Chapman there before the season is out. Maybe we'll actually bring in a first team right winger in January to add to the list - though that might be a bit novel.
  11. We don't know what our best team is. We don't know what our style of play is. We never have under Mowbray. We won't go anywhere until we do. If anyone can name a stretch where we have been unchanged for three games under TM, I would love to be reminded of it. Constant rotation and changing roles and experimenting mid-match won't strengthen us long term. It won't develop the players. It won't allow us to develop a style of play which we can rely on. It won't win us football matches on a consistent enough basis to get in to the Top 6 of the Championship. Tony needs to decide what his best team is now and work with them to build something that works. We have some damn good talent in our squad, but we seem a ways away from it all gelling.
  12. Chapman makes it 5!
  13. Late reply but I've found it more palatable than the City one which I didn't finish. A few interesting things to see more of - like Bielsa's SpyGate conference and the failed Daniel James transfer.
  14. Is Gallagher playing central now by any chance?
  15. He stayed down immediately after.
  16. Plopping Evans and Smallwood back in like their last match didn't happen is shoddy. Put Gallagher back on the wing if you want to, just put Buckley in the middle instead of those two together ?
  17. - Tony Mowbray Only he has the answer ?
  18. If I were Mowbray and not just an internet keyboard warrior I would be looking to try and give Dack some help. The old Christmas Tree formation isn't particularly popular but our lack of natural width is no secret.
  19. Why did I start watching that Leeds doc on Amazon? Just had to rewatch our Boxing Day collapse form the denouement of an episode ?
  20. The commentators apologising for anyone who heard Mowbray telling Williams to f**k off is already moment of the season. That was a battle and we came out it quite professionally.
  21. Ryaaaaaaan Nyaaaambeeeee Should start every week just for that.
  22. I liked the previous EFL intro music.
  23. Adrián should have come here for a real test against the mighty Oldham Athletic.
  24. Tony thinks we could be a little thin at Centre Back. ?
