Why would we spend all that money on Hyam and still want SVDB with the CB cover we now have. Caulker is a cover player & is free so it’s less pressure to start. If we now sign SVDB on loan then I think it would be a waste considering we have Wharton, Ayala, Hyam, Carter & Phillips. No doubt Phillips will go on loan but to me it’s a waste of wages to bring in a CB, who will be forced on us to play… For me CB or defence is covered with a weakened left side. It’s now to the stage if this 3rd & final player is SVBD I’d peed off. We need some attackers.

Agreed but the 2 left backs for 1 spot are well well below average.

It’s just pace we lack IMO. A good Winger would be nice.

Brittain, Szmodics, Morton, Kaulker, Hyam…Allthough I’m happy that bodies are coming in, only probably the first & the last are proven at this level…it’s a pretty poor Window as a whole. Hopefully our last signing will be a good one. Hopefully boosts the moral on here anyway…I think we’re done for defenders if our targets come in, possibly need a LB but need some quality up top.

I don’t think anyone thinks we’ve pulled a blinder. He experience we’re craving in a very young squad. If the Coventry lad is coming I presume he’s our number 1 player on the list. SVDB was supposed to be here now so I presume Vaulker is a ‘panic’ buy and if he’s free & on low wage I’d say it’s a good buy. Again, a freebie means more money to hopefully spend on our 3rd signing which no one is aware of. Hopefully he’s a midfielder or attacker 🤞🏻

IF & this is a big IF weve got for caulker to keep some money in our back pockets for an attacking midfielder/Winger/Stirker then I’ll be happy.

I think it’s more the fact that we still haven’t got a CB in and we are relying on a 17 year old youngster…. Don’t get me wrong, Phillips is okay and I think will be become a great player but we need & should of had someone in by now!
