Correct…One thing that stood out for me was his first touch down to Diaz from Buckley cross ball pass…lead to Diaz hitting it first time on the half volley which saw the keeper to a good save…That cross ball comes to Nyambe and he heads it out of play or chests it and runs to the corner flag and it comes to nothing… Although I agree Brittain had a few nervy moments, he is an upgrade on Nyambe…Toward the latter stage of the 2nd Brittain did step in with a few good challenges.

It looks like Szmodics is coming so for me the Positions we need filling are LB & CB…Styles is the man we need. I really hope JDT doesn’t see Pickering as good enough.

I really worry for Gally…Like a lot say, his touch and vision is truly shocking…he’s obviously not the best finisher either…He’s an absolute grafter but that’s all he is I’m afraid…If BB goes we better have a striker lined up….

Correct me if I’m wrong but he also didn’t come out after the final whistle…I thought his body language was fine during the warm ups, seems like he was giving vale plenty of advise…but not coming out at the end I find odd.

We are in need of a RW & LB…Styles & Szmodis/Bowler next week would be dreamland…Think Szmodics will the lad we see first…

To be honest..Brittain had a few nervy moments…But he grew into the game and showed his class…I think with a better RW he will be even better.

People are right with hedges end product…seems to keep the ball well but if he’s any longer than 3 seconds with the ball then he panics and places a miss pass or looses it…I thought he played well but we can do better than him.

Standouts for me, Ayala, Wharton, Trav, Buckley, Britain & Hedges…Dolan also did very well when he came on…I’d say he’s better as an impact sub, keeps their Tired CB’s on their toes… Gally works hard but really is a donkey…that awful touch/ball when he could of played Brereton through 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ Pickering did okay but really isn’t what we need as a wing back. My Nan could move faster than him. Gally needs to play up top & if we can get Szmodics or Bowler on the right we’re onto a winner! We kept the ball well but at times we’re quite sloppy with the passing. First 20 was terrible but pretty good after that. We need some additions next week! Overall chuffed for JDT!!! GET IN!!!!

One thing we can see is that Burnley really don’t need Bowler in their team, so hopefully that rules them out.

Tomorrow will be a big test, however I’m confident we will get a result…A win would be a huge boost for moral. I for one can’t wait to see how we play under JDT.

Broughton did say it’s not all going to happen over night…That to me means he needs time….Again I get the frustration but we need to judge come end of the window…Players will come/are coming.

I get your frustration but this is a really bad post @SuperBrfc. Still 1 month left of the window We don’t know the fee of Szmodics How can you judge someone who hasn’t kicked a ball? I wouldnt go off what their fans say (alot of them are actually gutted he may be leaving) it was the same for Brittain @ Barnsley and more or the less the same from our lot for Nyambe.

I would agree with Mogger in charge…However he’s an attacking threat under a attacking minded manager. It could work wonders mate…he will certainly be an improvement on Dolan IMO. Just to add also he scored 2 in his last pre-season against hull so he won’t be rusty.

Looked at some highlights of Szmodics and correct he’s seems just a bit sharper than Dack…Technically we can’t compare yet of course

I’m not saying I rate JRC because I certainly don’t…JDT may feel JRC is a ‘better fit’ as a wing back than Brown…

Perhaps JRC is better as a wing back? JRC I’d say offers a better attacking threat

That rules bowler out then…Don’t know much about the lad & wont judge till I’ve seen him play… Might be contradicting myself here but 2.5m seems steep…

Does anyone know what the hold up could be as to why we 'supposedly' haven't put any bids in for either Bowler or Styles? Surely the club realise that the longer it goes on the likes of the bigger spenders will come in. You just know Bowler will go elsewhere... I'd love to know how the process works...
