  1. Well it clearly isn't a lot otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation.
  2. Exactly, why did we, surely we must of known O'brien was coming available...If we bring O'Brien in, what a fucking waste of time Foreshaw was.
  3. I know it doesn't but they will want a lot paying. I imagine they'll hang around waiting to see who offers the most and release - By then Travis will be back. I like O'brien but if we want him, we need him now.
  4. Of course it does and if we were Sheffield united/Sunderland we would/should do it. We don't have a pot to piss in, we've brought in a CDM already in Foreshaw, are we now saying he's not good enough? Then why did the club bring him in? I don't agree that he gets ahead of Tronstad n Travis, not with how good they were before their injuries. Travis is just over a week away, Buckley is doing okay, then there's JRC and Foreshaw. If we are classing JRC as right back then maybe its worth going for but with our tiny budget we need to be going for Attackers.
  5. He will improve the squad yes but if tronstad injury isn't as bad as feared, who plays CDM in a few weeks? I don't fancy stumping up for a player who demands 40k a week when there are clear signs that we need 2/3 attackers.
  6. Always puzzled me when posters/fans were against dembele. Sometimes it's not about the goals/assists of a player but what they bring to the build up (pace directness). Even Jackson can see it! He was outstanding yesterday and ran rings around us for Brum at home last season. He's exactly what we needed and I imagine Eustace wasn't impressed he didn't get him....He is the exact profile we're missing. I like duberry and he showed flashes that first half on the right, but he was poor in that second half - I don't rate Dolan or Hedges at all.
  7. O'Brien just isn't going to happen, we'd need him now and how much of his wages are we going to pay? 12k? Forest will wait till the end of the window then it's more or less pointless because travis will be back. We need attackers and fast it's pretty simple.
  8. People really think we're going to now go for a CM? I highly doubt it, especially when Travis is back in a few weeks.
  9. Just heard rumours of Tronstad out for 6 weeks...Fuck!
  10. Agreed, needs to release earlier and lost possession too many times today.
  11. ACD and Gueye are impact subs and both can change games. Dolan and hedges on the other hand are ineffective full stop.
  12. Thought Foreshaw looked okay when he came on, but correct he can't last more than 30 minutes. Needs to be our last resort coming on or to see a game out. JRC should of come on instead
  13. Oxford are a good side but I think we helped them out. They have 2 decent wingers and we have zero, they ran rings round us that second half. Luckily the majority of games have gone our way.
  14. He needs a loan 100% but still, for me, I don't think he's good enough.
  15. I wonder what it feels like to have actual wingers in your team? Ones that can run at players, I wonder.
  16. Foreshaws fault that for an awful pass in the build up to the foul. Fully deserved as we've been piss.
  17. Offensively Dubberry edges it, moves quicker and probably has a better shot than Dolan. Defensively Dolan wins and is probably why Eustace likes him.
  18. There, I think, was about 3 times where the ball wasn't grounded and Buckley and just hoofed it back in the air forward. Need abit more composure, keep the ball on the ground man...Where Adam Wharton showed his class. Other than that we are doing okay, I like the look of Foreshaw.
  19. Makes sense... he's been posting, for the first time in a while, about the club recently that he can't wait to get back etc
  20. https://fotbolldirekt.se/silly-season/avslojar-vill-inte-lamna-blackburn-for-malmo-eller-djurgarden/ It was a week ago that information about a heavy former Allsvenskan name came. Several clubs were stated, by Fotbollskanalen, to investigate possibilities with former Norrköping star Arnor Sigurdsson. According to FotbollDirekt's information, all have now been refused by the 25-year-old Icelander. This season has so far been difficult for Sigurdsson at Rovers and so far there have been no more than a few appearances due to injury. Now his contract expires this summer, but the Icelander does not have any plans to play in Allsvenskan. All the clubs that Fotbollskanalen has reported have thus received a no thank you in response. From FotbollDirekt's information, it also appears that several international clubs are showing interest in him, but that despite that he probably chooses to have ice in his stomach and stay where he is until the summer. Arnor Sigurdsson was sold from IFK Norrköping to Russian CSKA in 2018 for a whopping SEK 40 million. After the start of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, he moved home to Norrköping and then, after a strong stay, moved on to Blackburn. In total in Norrköping, he scored 18 goals and nine assists in 50 games.
  21. The calibre of player will be the same irrespective on what day they're brought in this window.
  22. Reports coming out that Siggy is staying until summer and does not want to go back to the Allsvenskan. I wonder if the club were relying on him being sold for funds.
  23. Here's how I think the rest of our window will go. CF - Danns (loan) LW - Kargbo - permanent 500k LB - Fulhams 5th choice LB
