  1. Wonder what Matondo wages would cost, can’t see him being on anything lower than 15k at Rangers. A fee of roughly 1.5m and those wages we may struggle to get him in…Ah well another 59 to look at it seems.
  2. Down to the wire…Well, that’s that then.
  3. Matondo is quick and Direct…Dolan is neither of those.
  4. It just has to be Matondo over Germain. One is 29, has no re-sale value, not fast, and looks more like a holding number 9. The other has played at a higher level, very good chance of a re-sale, quick and is classed more as an out n out winger. However what it will boil down to is price, one costs peanuts and the other will probably eat up our transfer budget, I think we all know the outcome. Or we can have both which would be ideal.
  5. Meh…Jackson always here to piss on the bonfire.
  6. If we can get Matondo on a permanent, Drommel on an actual loan to buy with a back up LB and another winger then that would be decent… Still expect a few more players to leave, Vale and Siggy.
  7. Would love Rabbi Matondo, let’s hope Leeds are looking elsewhere because if they’re still interested then it’s game over for us.
  8. If it a a genuine “loan to buy” option they I don’t see an issue with this really.
  9. We will soon see, wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just 3 loans through the door next week.
  10. Rovers can still sign Germain, it’s just that his club have until only today to get any replacement…Just might make it more difficult fee wise as they’ll want more money to cover the loss.
  11. Re - Germain, looks like Nixon talking bull again.
  12. Agreed, if we’re spending what Demebele is worth (1.5m) then there are easily younger/better prospects out there. Like many have said, I don’t think we’re spending anything close to the values of Dembele or Baker. I also think there’s more to the Germain story to what we’re being told. MarkBRFC is right we’ve been here before with our squabbling, so I presume it’s another last minute change. Germain looks decent but you’ve got to remember he’s 29! Where’s the re-sale value? We’ve just brought in a load of older heads, if we’ve pulled the plug on him then this reason then fair play, we need younger blood…But then again why agreed personal terms? Who Fricken knows what’s going on!
  13. Agreed there must be some atttitude problems but ability wise he 100% gets in our starting 11.
  14. He fits the bill of what we want, which is pace…Ideally I’d have him and Germain but guessing we’re only getting one attacker. Very good chance that if Dembele doesn’t work we would get our money back.
  15. George Cox has signed for Erzurumspor FK…Would have been a decent backup for Pickering…Free, decent age.
  16. Yeh, seems fishy…Why agree terms with a player to then say hang on, lets just check through this list of players first before we make any decision.
  17. There are question marks over Dembele and his work rate but he ticks a lot of boxes which we lack. If it’s between him or Germain then I’d would go for Dembele. Quicker, younger and more an out n out winger…Also very good chnace we get our money back if he fluffs it. Poku sounds a good option but seeing as there’s no concrete links to him, he’s not a target.
  18. Eustace must of been on this message board and taken the “war chest” as literal…Does he know the current financial situation we’re under?
  19. Germain feels like another de Lange, we’re leaving the door open for other clubs to come swooping in…o well.
  20. Not that we had much of. Budget anyway this window but I can imagine it’s changed after todays outcome, can’t see us risking anymore spending. This Germain chap has gone all quiet, can’t see that happening now and imagine the last few signings being cheap loans.
  21. May as well, will be a few shite loans now and a few more sales out the door…Travis will be 100% pushed out now.
  22. One thing for sure, we’ve not a clue how these next 10 days will go. Never a dull moment with this club.
