  1. My point is that after a 1st season with f all support from Transfers we’ve done well. Imagine if we’d appointed Ainsworth or some of the other dross we were linked with? As frustrated & baffled I’ve been with JDT sometimes, I’m looking forward to next season, where the team have adapted and, hopefully, we have some new faces in.
  2. Literally echoing everyone’s comments. The lad is an unreal talent! 1 player can make a difference to a teams performance & I wonder how many more points we’d have if he started more. A big test for him in a derby on Sat. I’m sure PNE will have heard/seen him so will be all over him in the centre. I remember the Bristol City home game after his debut at Blackpool. He just wasn’t same and had a poor game (it happens I know)…hopefully we don’t see a repeat on Sat.
  3. Luton probably yes, Millwall probably not, but we are literally in the same position as them…
  4. I’m confident(ish) about this. I would have same team, with Thomas instead of Diaz and Dolan uptop, in lieu of Gally, who looks to be out.
  5. You really think you would find anyone getting us higher than we currently are with this squad. I don’t reckon so.
  6. Maddness…Who on earth would you taken instead then?
  7. If JDT sets us up right. We can easily beat these!
  8. Says it all, I hope he doesn’t play a game again!
  9. I think that was you on the toilet pal. Brittain was awful.
  10. I couldn’t believe people were praising Brittain at half time. He was awful and looked low on confidence. I thought maybe he could react second half…he was even worse!! Bring back Pickering I say.
  11. Yeap, Coventry were awful tonight. Even with the pressure they were putting on us, they were never a real threat. With the last 5 minutes & the constant fouling from us I could see them sneaking something …All too predictable.
  12. I for one am looking forward to seeing the back of Brereton.
  13. Yeap, given the ball away far too much and played some terrible balls. He’s a good player, just think he’s lacking game time.
  14. Wow A Wharton, the lad is class, to think an 18 year old is running the midfield? Diaz & Brittain poor - Everyone else is doing well.
  15. & so was Hedges against Norwich…Thomas played 15 minutes…He’s got pace & runs at the opposition. Something which Hedges lacks. Infact there’s no pace in that front 4! Worrying.
  16. Yeah unlucky for him as it’s fallen ever since he couldn’t play in the cup…I rate him!
  17. Would have preferred a 3 man midfield & Thomas to start but really pleased to see A Wharton.
  18. It’s in our hands! We have to make it count. Excited/nervous - Our confidence will be through the roof if we pick up 3 points tonight. COYB
  19. I think SS can play anywhere across the front 4, probably why JDT like him, along with his press. SS as number 9 with Dack behind and Thomas & Dolan on the flanks works for me.
  20. I agree, but where would you put him? You simply cannot take Szmodics out just for his engine alone.
  21. He was the best of a bad bunch, bar his awful miss, he was good on the ball and kept the tempo going unlike the rest…Dolan has always been let down by his finishing, if he had any end product we would have a player on our hands…
  22. I Actually think we started okay, but spot on with the rest of the post.
  23. It was defiantly the lack of options as to why we couldn’t play it out from the back. 3 in the middle helps the back 4 but also brings the best out of Morton. I’ve slightly calmed down now but it was unforgivable form JDT to switch it back after such a dominating performance. Im hearing comments on A Wharton from the manager about his Defence duties. If you stick him in a 3 then we have the 2 others to clean up after him - It’s really that simple! A Wharton has the ability to split defences open, we just cannot afford to have him sat on the bench. There is no excuse to dropping him! I’m hoping the manager sees light on the next game, we MUST have a midfield 3 otherwise Coventry will tear us apart, their CMs are some of the best in the league.
  24. Pears/Kaminksi JRC Carter Hyam Pickering Travis Wharton Morton Thomas Dolan Szmodics Or Pears/Kaminksi JRC Carter Hyam Pickering Travis Wharton Thomas Szmodics Dolan Leonard Morton played okay last night, so I think the top line up would be best, back to a 3 man midfield. Diaz & Gallagher 1000% should be dropped. Coventry are a different beast compared to hull. Hamer will run the show for them in the midfield so we need to match them. Going to be really tough and unfortunately see us loosing. However we seem to perform when we expect to loose so I’m going 1-1. Coventry fans have brought a few and we’re the loudest to come to ewood last season so we need to be at them. Make or break…
