I would say say we’re probably 4th on his list of choice. Not really going to loose too much sleep as for finishing off this season well, we need ST & CM positions filled….CD isn’t really priority. We have summer to sort that.

I think that’s possibly an excuse if we miss out on Gelhardt which will possibly be the case hearing now Sheff United are interested. Remember, even PNE have got in 2 Strikers, albeit loans, within days of each other…That’s a club at the moment which is in freefall with their owners… I gurantee who we bring in won’t be any better than Delap.

Ooo aye yeah. What this is meant to say is that we wait for other clubs to come in and out bid us - just like what will happen with the hibs lad.

I think we will get a reaction here. Possibly a first Draw. Buckley & Markanday HAVE to start this one IMO - Reaction with a signing this week would be a big boost for the club.

I think there is a good chance he goes back to Wigan. Maybe the hero of keeping them up is one for the CV. He lives there, knows the club… You could say the same for us about getting us promoted “we wish”…Will he be a guaranteed starter for us? I would but would JDT think the same?

This is what I’ve been wanting to kind of input on this board but I sometimes find it hard to explain in writing ha Accurate & good post Superniko.

Looks like things are progressing with transfers but it’s a case if we can sign and how quickly. If we get Gelhardt in, which it states won’t be until they play Cardiff on Wednesday, then we need him before & starting against Bristol, no excuses. A part of me thinks, like the norm, that that deal will fall through…I can see him going Sunderland.

Buckley, Morton, Garrett & Trav in that order. The top 2 I would have in my middle, if we don’t get anyone else, for the remainder of the season.

I get the same feel, however then you have to look at the players around him…Garrett, Travis & Buckley, I do rate Buckley the most out of them all which a lot won’t agree… I’ve seen Morton play off Dack quite well which does tell you if we had more quality around he would produce better results.

Nothing in it from our perspective however I’m seeing a lot of Nobbers saying there’s interest in Whiteman. He is the exact type of player we need in our midfield.
