  1. No return until the owners leave means no return until the owners leave.
  2. Just as every Rovers fan knew. If you are good enough, you are old enough and experience only comes from being out on the pitch. Really proud that was our team out there yesterday for millions to see. We lost fair and square in a top top quality cup tie. I'm OK with that. I think if we play that game 10 times in a row, we win 5 and they win 5 so I make it our turn in the play off final.
  3. I can't agree that the game should have been stopped for a head injury. Clutching there JDT. Not sure if he got poked in the eye but it wasn't a head injury so it clearly wasn't concussion or blood gushing out. Just silly.
  4. Well it was a great game ! Very disappointed to lose but I found a couple of positives. We won't have to watch as we lose 9-0 to Haaland live on TV. We won't have to see close ups of the owners in the Royal Box and listen to the BBC tell us what great owners they are. I really enjoyed the match. I just wish Hedges shot had gone in off the post and JDT didn't make those subs. But 2 cup runs and a play off place still to play for, not one of us expected that at the start of the season.
  5. His tackle made the Szmodics goal tbf. Generally he was excellent today.
  6. We absolutely lost because of the subs and the change in formation. No need for it as we were comfortable. Dolan for Gally would have been sensible.
  7. First it was a certain penalty. Second goal well deserved. We are back to shit after 2 good games. Thomas needs taking off ASAP.
  8. Fuck the play off lottery. Lets go second vs the Dingle Bastards and then take the automatic place. Is winning the FA Cup being greedy ?
  9. No way Diaz gets back in this side.
  10. Man U away is the best for a Waggott Windfall. May be able to sort the pitch out and the painting with the extra cash.
  11. JRC will be player of the season if he keeps playing like that. Hope he isn't going to be out injured. Miles better with Dolan on the left than Diaz. A lot more energy. Best game Szmodics has had. Morton was really good until he tired and needed to come off 5 mins before ge did. Travis was immense tonight. I don't think Vale touched the ball. Best we have played for years that. Really enjoyed it ! Waggott will be praying for Man U away for a bumper (over budget) payday.
  12. So Dack was running the game. Smodicks hasn't touched the ball yet Good sub Jon.
  13. Good game for a change. Lovely finish from Dack. In the end though, 2 points dropped as we make our way down the table.
  14. Oh I almost forgot...we are only doing draws now.
  15. No outlet or threat since Sorba withdrawn.
  16. And many passed on. Whats more stubborn than an Indian businessman ? An old working class Lancashire bloke.
  17. They attract a few more people to go for the one off. Friends etc. Not fans. They wont attract me or thousands of other fans because we are waiting for the owners to leave. Really simple concept.
  18. We are also getting another quarter of a million for being live on the BBC Red Button & iplayer. So chucking £30K in should be seen, 100% as no different than a little flutter down the bookies on us getting to the next round. If we got City away Stevey will be in bonus heaven. https://www.totalsportal.com/football/fa-cup-prize-money/ The Carabao cup works the same way. 45% each way. That nice little trip to West Ham probably paid for our new striker.... oh wait.
  19. Lets not think that Waggott is discounting tickets for Leicester. Firstly, gettting to this round will not have been in the budget. That means every penny we rake in makes him look even more of a hero to his paymasters. Secondly, away at a PL team is far more lucrative for us than being at home. Between the third and sixth rounds FA CUP games, 45 per cent of gate receipts are divided between both clubs, with 10 per cent heading into a central pot. This discount to our modest allocation is being funded entirely by Leicester fans rather than our club. Waggott's spreadsheet convinces him that it must be his birthday so a crumb thrown to the peasants.
  20. We have had 2 shots on target all night. No wonder we hardly score.
  21. I don't think anyone has told the lads we are at home to the bottom side and can go back into the play offs.
  22. Vale good ball to Sorba there
