  1. Unless you can provide hard evidence to dispute this fact then it is clearly true. No amount of blathering will chance facts.
  2. We won't sell many more unless we unveil a marquee signing or two. Exciting players sell tickets. Lots of them. Although they are talking about using the U23s so that seems far fetched. 8000 total or in other words... 23000 empty seats.
  3. There is no back up. They have made it up. It is not published anywhere because it hasn't happened.
  4. Can only be down to those 3 year old back of the bus adverts. #valueformoney
  5. A - well we have appointed a new manager after the completely useless last one was let go at the end of his contract. I guess that's just to be expected. Kind of what happens. B - no it hasn't. Nonsense. C - maintaining your property. Wow. Almost unheard of. Although lets see if anything actually happens. Next you will be telling us the Venkys have undergone a recent QEGS education and have changed. Laughable.
  6. Poor Steve, only sold 7500 STs and out of ideas, finally resorts to reading our ideas. Looking for that one innovative suggestion where higher prices will mean more sales. Try firing Suhail. Oh you can't.
  7. Ben Benson says.... "BRILLIANT"
  8. JDT has committed to a 3 year deal. WILL YOU ? Sign up for the new 3 year ST NOW. 400 this season, 380 next season, 360 the season after.... Regardless of which division we are in. We Are Rovers ('Til We Die)
  9. They could scrap the £30 Waggott Tax and take a bold new direction. Get onto your lapsed friends and family and bring them back to the Rovers family. If we sell over 10,000 then every ST holder gets a £30 reduction. At 10,000 with the discount handed out, they would be half a million quid up on selling 8000 at £400. £100K for his addition pitch costs he keeps moaning about. Still £400K growth.
  10. Steve Waggott only knows what the sales are because he is checking Goozburger's daily spreadsheet on here. Give yourself a complimentary ST GB. Had to laugh at him admitting to that. "I’ve seen all the social media about counting the seats, we’ve sold tickets quicker this year than we’ve ever sold them."
  11. Don't be naive. That has been spent on renting a training ground from some Indians.
  12. Those who sit in the JWU choose to pay more and sit there vs paying lower prices. Are you suggesting JWU ST holders would be against match day tickets being £20 and prefer the ground to be 2/3 empty ?
  13. It shouldn't matter how much it costs, if it needs doing, the owners should pay for it and instruct Waggot to "get it done".
  14. When I had a ST, I literally never sat in the seat on the card. Usually I would move at HT as well. Same on the odd occasion I have bought a match ticket since. Same when I go away. Couldn't think of anything worse than seeing the same faces and listening to the same opinions week after week.
  15. A ST is £17.35 per game allegedly. So £20 in no way compromises that ?
  16. Unless the replacements come for free from the U21s which is what I personally expect. Then we will buy some kids to backfill the pipeline.
  17. No bumper away crowds in the first half of the season and Sunderland is a night match (bet that annoyed Swag). Matchday tickets should be announced at flat £20 for all of those games. That would get people in and IF JDT gets them performing we would then shift a few thousand half STs. I don't see any value at all in buying a full ST at those prices.
  18. No signs of anybody incoming. Playing 2 x 60min games to give everyone a go indicates they will be primarily looking at kids making the step up. Nothing wrong with that except this is going to be another lost season before it has even started.
  19. Well now the fixtures are out there won't be many more sales. Just get a half ST and get all the derbies.
  20. There is more chance of seeing four figures sat in the directors box.... none.
  21. We might shift 50 when the fixtures come out today. And then another 50 before next week's deadline. Only a marquee signing (or 2) will get more to consider it. Was ever the case. I remember the excitement when we signed Archibald. Alas Broughton will be searching for a bargain in the flea market.
  22. All OK then Nick. Thanks for the fairy's perspective. ST sales are going great. We have actually sold more than Preston and Bolton. Everyone should be happy with the efforts of the club. Marketting has been good. COYB Venkys Out.
  23. So (some) ST holders who can afford it say "prices are fine, stop moaning". None ST holders who can't afford it are priced out of getting a ST. Conclusion, some ST holders are just not bothered about more people buying STs. Personally I think the prices are great. Way too cheap if anything. If they were 600 or 700 then our owners may have signed the cheque for the new pitch, or rebuilt the Riverside, or even bought a tin of paint. This is the fault of those fans who constantly complain and don't buy a ST. Oh hang on... that's me... Now Fuck Off Venkys and I will buy one tomorrow.
