  1. I would be most happy with Bilic - It won't be him. I would actually be happy with Ferguson - It won't be him. I feel dirty saying it but I keep thinking its going to be OGS with Carrick as assistant. I would be happy with that - It could be them. I don't want Ainsworth and it was never going to be him. Would destroy the lads career working for this lot and nobody wants that. Fully prepared for an amazingly stupid and underwhelming appointment. In fact I expect nothing else.
  2. No, anyone who cares about Rovers should not spend a penny with them until the owners have left for good. All the managers, CEOs, are merely symtoms. Unfortunately the remaining minority still have to work this out for themselves.
  3. I can't wait until Waggott turns up for the Farke unveil presser tomorrow. But Glen told me it was today. Has the Queen run this change by Madame ?
  4. That is exactly what will happen. Paying 2 managers with no games or income would be stupid, wouldn't it. Nyambe and Lenihan will just pack their bags and leave on the 30th. It's almost comical.
  5. There is no sign of any of those 3 in fact 2 of them have said so. The 3 contenders are likely to be Lowe, Benson & Johnson.
  6. As a Rovers fan, Gareth is far more likely to come on here, posting about how our incompetent owners need to fuck off, than to sign a contract to work for the circus. Total none starter from day 1.
  7. I think I'm having 10 bob on OGS with Carrick as assistant. I would be very pleased with Bilic. It isn't going to be any of them, I know. I just prey Danny Murphy never did his coaching badges.
  8. It will get extended about 4 times like it does every year. Unveil a top class manager, a marqee signing and a promotion strategy and people will get off the fence. Saying from Monday it's £30 quid more will possibly not have the same effect.
  9. We didn't appoint Dalglish in 95. And when we did, we were in the second division and I am sure it was a gamble at the time. The key point which you missed was the owner of Rovers identified who he wanted, then went and got him. You don't need me to explain the contrast do you?
  10. There are that many vacancies, they will probably have the 8 candidates draw straws over who gets which job. Big Dunc DOF, Carlos handling the property portfolio, Cocu as Chief Scout and Michael Carrick as head coach.
  11. A great number will be far more concerned over the managerial appointment than 30 quid.
  12. Five has become eight in Rovers’ search for a new manager. An extended interview process has been held, with Rovers’ initial shortlist having expanded following late expressions of interest in the role. There could yet be further interviews, should Rovers look to speak with in-work managers, given that approaches would need to be made to their respective clubs, while follow-ups with those already spoken to isn't to be ruled out. So this means they are all out of work (no compo to pay) and rules Ainsworth out.
  13. The pitch would be exempt from FFP. Whatever the exact scenario, the pitch, drainage and undersoil heating needs replacing. The stadium needs maintaining. The Riverside needs rebuilding. None goes against FFP Glen. They should be writing the cheques, not just signing them. They have not spent a single Rupee more than is their obligation as custodians. They have not done a single thing in 12 years to build any sort of Rao legacy. They have done a fair bit to undo Jack's legacy.
  14. Not a time to joke about managerial appointments. They will probably get Carlos Carvalhal and we will choose Ian Holloway as the "outstanding candidate".
